We are delighted to share that our map has received the Best Map Award (2024/5) from Journal of Maps (Routledge).
Journal of Maps is pleased to award the 2024 “Best Map” to Ivana Cahová and Radek Barvíř for their map “depicting the basic settlement patterns of the Jewish community in the various zones of Olomouc.” The awards panel described it as “an excellent example of historical geospatial analysis,” highlighting its “great use of colour… and effective use of panels to clearly guide the reader through the topic.”
