KAA at Noc vědy 2026! 💜🧪
On Friday, 25 September, our department took part in Researchers' Night (Noc vědy) at City Campus, University of Ostrava (Ostravská univerzita).

Visitors could try English kahoot quizzes or vocabulary matching, and those who dared could test how well they understand Gen Z slang and English idioms, or whether they recognise famous quotes from films and literature. As a reward, they could take a picture at our photo booth or receive a Junior Scientist certificate. 🤩

Thank you to everyone who stopped by! Thank you also to our colleagues Jan Beneš, Monika Večeřová, Katarína Labudová, Linda Šubertová, and Zuzana Hurtová for preparing the activities and helping with the organisation 💙, and to our students Klára Příkaská, Marie Strzelcová, and Adéla Staňková for their kind assistance on site.
