We are interested in meteorites, planetary geology, composition of asteroids and comets. Specifically we dwell into the comet age evaluation based on crystallinity, if asteroids can possess their own magnetic dynamo, and what is the nature of geophysical fields on planets like Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, including some of their moons. Growing interest is about fall of meteorites on our planet, and what change this makes to terrestrial environment. Another focus is on possible ways how to design mining of asteroids, how to navigates this cargo back to Earth and how to safely deliver it to the surface of Moon or Earth. We also explore the degree influence of terrestrial conditions on the pristine meteorite composition once they land on the surface.

Letter from Orlov (Mayor of the city Chebarkul) : He thanks us for magnetic detection an location of the largest fragment, that fell into the Chebarkul Lake in February 2013, Our magnetic and geodetic measurements were critical for localization and lead them final meteorite retrieval from the lake. Next week Günther Kletetschka will attend the AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco, which is the largest worldwide conference in the geophysical sciences, attracting more than 24 000 Earth and space scientists, educators, students, and other leaders. For 46 years, energized and passionate Earth and space scientists from around the world gather at the AGU Fall Meeting to connect with colleagues, broaden their knowledge base, and embrace the joy of science.

June 17-24, 2013; Travel to Russia to measure magnetic anomalies at the bottom of Chebarkul lake. Participants were Darja Kawasumiova, Gunther Kletetschka, Ladislav Nabelek, and Jan Vyhnanek. Thanks to a cooperation with the Czech Technical University, especially help from doctoral student, Jan Vyhnanek, we were able to magnetically locate the meteorite. We used two GPS station system that allowed us assigning the position of the fragment more precisely.
