🦷 On Monday, September 7, 2026, we're delighted to welcome Prof. Piranit Nik Kantaputra from Chiang Mai University in Thailand. A leading expert in medical genetics, he has identified more than 13 new genetic syndromes over the course of his career.
🧬 His talk, "Genetic studies of rare dental, gingival and limb malformations," will explore how identifying disease-causing genes has deepened our understanding of tooth development, gingival homeostasis, and limb morphogenesis, and what rare disorders can teach us about the broader mechanisms behind development and disease.
