Prague is about to light up! 🌟 Mark your calendars: Signal Festival returns October 15–18, 2026!
​If you're new to CTU or Prague, this is an autumn tradition you cannot miss. For four magical evenings, the city’s historic architecture, modern buildings, and public squares transform into an open-air digital gallery with light design, interactive installations, and massive video mapping shows.
​How does it work?
​Explore the city: Follow curated walking routes across Prague. Most outdoor installations are completely free to walk up and enjoy.
​Signal INSIDE: Want to see exclusive indoor exhibitions? These require a ticket/wristband (available on their website).
​Interactive app: Download the official Signal Festival app for an interactive map, timetable, and hidden augmented-reality (AR) spots.
​Grab your campus friends, put on warm clothes, and experience Prague in a whole new light!

How amazing is this? 🇯🇵🏎️

A group of Japanese students had the unique opportunity to discover the magic of CTU Prague and see the team preparing its car for upcoming races in and .

Choosing the right university involves many important steps for every international student. Experiences like this, however, can provide real inspiration and may become a decisive moment on the journey towards studying at České vysoké učení technické v Praze.

A big thank you to Miwa Kitamura for bringing this enthusiastic group to CTU, and to Ai Yamada, Momoko Kishi, Sakurako Yamada, Emily Smith, Karen Atsumi, Lily Patience and Dr Yuichi Kondo for your wonderful energy and enthusiasm.

Last Call! garagErasmus Foundation and the Italian National Agency Erasmus+ INDIRE are pleased to invite your students to participate in the 2026 edition of the Learning Garage, held within the framework of the project The + of .

The Learning Garage consists of five free Zoom sessions covering five different hot topics related to job hunting and the job market, held by highly experienced trainers selected by garagErasmus Foundation.

The aim of these sessions is to provide the Erasmus Generation with job hunting and professional skills, giving them concrete answers, suggestions and relevant tips on the current job market.

The Learning Garage is completely free and will take place in the following days, from 16.30 to 18.30:

Informatic evening: Decoding the chemical universe of plants with machine learning

Plants produce an extraordinary diversity of chemical compounds, many of which have important medicinal properties. In this lecture from the Fakulta informačních technologií ČVUT Informatics Evenings series, Tomáš Pluskal from the IOCB Prague - Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Akademie věd České republiky will explain how his research group is decoding the chemical universe of plants using machine learning. The lecture will be held in English.
