Studie vyšla v časopise American Journal of Biological Anthropology.
A Spanish–Czech team of researchers led by our colleague Elena García-Vargas from our department has published a study investigating the relationship between physical activity and morphological changes in muscle attachment sites on bones. In the study, the authors link changes in muscle attachment sites observed in contemporary runners and climbers with those found in the skeletal remains of the Early Medieval population from Pohansko. The study was published in the American Journal of Biological Anthropology.
