🌾 What does data-driven farming actually look like?

🤖 Imagine a drone taking to the skies, scanning a field in minutes, and letting AI instantly diagnose crop health. From there, farm machinery steps in—applying treatment only where it's truly needed.

That’s the AGRIP project in action. By combining drones, multispectral imaging, AI, and ultra-fast 5G SA network, it is making farming smarter, more precise, and far more sustainable. 🌿

💡 Experts from the Centre for Precision Agriculture at CZU Prague played a key role in developing and testing this technology.

🎉 CZU Garden Festival 2026 Is Here! 🌿🎶

On Saturday, June 13, 2026, the CZU campus will come alive with a day full of music, experiences, social gatherings, and activities for the whole family. 💚

We warmly invite alumni, students, staff, neighbors, and the general public to this traditional event that brings the entire university community together.

Today we celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity, a reminder of how important the diversity of life around us truly is. 💚

🌿 Scientists from Czech University of Life Sciences Prague warn that the decline of insects could gradually disrupt entire ecosystems.

🐝 Surprisingly, their research also shows that with proper management, solar parks can actually support biodiversity — for example through wildflower meadows, reduced mowing, or creating safe habitats for small animals.

Fun fact? In some parts of China, farmers already have to pollinate trees by hand due to the lack of natural pollinators. 🌸
