NEW IN THE CZU SHOP! ✨

The new university fragrance Eau de Kampus by CZU presents an authentic interpretation of the campus in its purest form. 🌿

A composition of green notes, dried hay, and a characteristic agricultural base creates a distinctive signature that instantly evokes the atmosphere of a place where nature meets the academic world.

Olfactory composition:

🐄 Base
deep, earthy-agricultural accords with a natural animalic trace

🌱 Heart
freshly cut campus greenery and dried grasses

🚌📖 Top
a nostalgic accent of archival genetics scripts and a warm undertone of the interior of the overcrowded bus no. 107

The limited edition will also be available as a candle and a diffuser.

For everyone who wants to relive their university years in a truly intense way.

🌿 When was CZU really founded? 👇

🌍 Today, the modern campus in Suchdol is a place where thousands of students meet, connected by sciences ranging from agriculture and technology to economics.

1995 🏛 The university adopts the name we know today – Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. It opens up to the world, expanding opportunities and programs for students.

1952 🎓 The independent College of Agriculture in Prague is established, separating from ČVUT and building its own identity and campus in Prague–Suchdol.

1906 🌱 The Provincial Agricultural Institute in Prague is founded – the beginning of systematic higher education in agriculture in the Czech lands.

🌍 In the latest Shanghai ARWU rankings, CZU ranks among the world’s top 100 universities in agricultural and forestry sciences.

🤝 The campus is an iconic meeting place for people with diverse interests from all over the world.

🌾 Are you already part of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague community, or planning to join soon?

🥳 The campus came alive in full swing – Masopust took place at CZU! 🎭

1. Rector Prof. Michal Lošťák kicked off the festivities and made sure the good vibes spread across the university. ✨

2. The masks radiated fantastic energy, each one spreading a flood of emotions! 🎭

3. At the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, we joined the fun with Dean Assoc. Prof. Hynek Roubík. 🕺

4. A feast at FAPPZ with Dean Prof. Eva Vlková, who invited us to dine with a devil lurking behind. 😈

5. At the Faculty of Economics and Management, Dean Prof. Lukáš Čechura danced along with us. 📊

6. Traditional merrymaking, accordion, clarinet – pure Masopust spirit!

7. This magical drink warms, makes you laugh, and brings everyone together around one table. Without it, it just wouldn’t be the same!

8. Enthusiastic dancers with cheeks flushed from every step. 💃

9. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. František Kumhála, celebrated with a traditional dish as it should be!

10. Even our animals from the stables would have loved to join in. 🐮

How did you like Masopust?
We look forward to seeing you again next year! 🎉

🎬 A look back at the ceremonial opening of the new university childcare building on the ČZU campus, which has been offering modern and welcoming facilities for the children of university employees since January.

🏠 The light-filled timber building, designed with natural materials and thoughtful details, is located near Dormitory A. It provides care through three childcare groups with a total capacity of 66 places for children from the age of two. The facilities include separate sleeping rooms, spacious playrooms and an outdoor grassy area.

🌿 The building was designed with sustainability in mind – it uses heat pumps, photovoltaic panels and rainwater harvesting. To support children’s health, the facilities also include an infrared sauna with a salt wall.

🎉 The official opening was attended by members of the ČZU management, the project’s authors and the construction team. The project was financially supported by the European Union through the National Recovery Plan.
