🎓 On October 12, 2024, the Jagiellonian Academy in Toruń celebrated the Inauguration of the Academic Year. Like last year, this important event was combined with the Academy Celebration.

During the ceremony, last year's graduates were awarded their diplomas, and first-year students were officially welcomed into our academic community after taking the oath.

A special part of the ceremony was the awarding of doctoral diplomas to a distinguished group of individuals who earned their Ph.D. degrees at our institution.

One of the most significant and moving moments of the event was the presentation of the Jagiellonian Award to Mr. Michał Zaleski. The Board of Trustees, Senate, and the entire academic community honored Mr. Zaleski for his 22 years of service as the Mayor of Toruń and his invaluable contributions to the development of our city and region.

In her speech, Rector Dr. Joanna Górska-Szymczak highlighted the core values and principles that continue to guide the mission of Jagiellonian Academy.

📸 It was a day full of pride, tradition, and looking forward to the future!
