vom 05. bis 07. Mai 2026 bieten wir eine Exkursion zur IFAT in München an!
Die IFAT gilt als größte internationale Fachmesse für die Bereiche Wasser, Abwasser, Recycling und Kommunaltechnik.
Die Teilnahme an der Exkursion wird Euch spannende Eindrücke vermitteln und bietet zudem die Möglichkeit, wertvolle Kontakte zu Unternehmen und vielleicht auch künftigen Arbeitgebern der Recycling- und Aufbereitungsbranche zu knüpfen.
Das Programm in Kürze:
Mi., 05.5.: Abends: Abfahrt nach München über Nacht
Do., 06.5.: Erster Tag IFAT
Fr., 07.5.: Zweiter Tag IFAT, Nachmittags: Abfahrt zurück nach Aachen
Ab dem 15.04.2026 können sich, sofern noch Plätze verfügbar sind auch Studis des Studiengangs UIW (im Master nur mit Vertiefung Recycling) anmelden.
Da die Exkursion in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Institut für Anthropogene Stoffkreisläufe stattfindet, können sich Studierende der FRE die Exkursion mit CP anrechnen lassen.
Es können bis zu 5 Prüfungsleistungen angeboten werden. Auch diese werden nach Reihenfolge der Anmeldung vergeben.

From May 5 to 7, 2026, we are offering a field trip to IFAT in Munich!
IFAT is considered the largest international trade fair for the water, wastewater, recycling, and municipal technology sectors.
Participating in the field trip will give you exciting insights and also offers the opportunity to make valuable contacts with companies and perhaps even future employers in the recycling and processing industry.
Program Overview:
Wed., May 5: Evening: Departure for Munich (overnight trip)
Thu., May 6: First day of IFAT
Fri, May 7: Second day of IFAT; afternoon: Departure back to Aachen
Starting April 15, 2026, students in the UIW program (in the Master’s program only with a specialization in Recycling) may also register, provided spots are still available.
Since the field trip is organized in collaboration with the Institute for Anthropogenic Material Cycles, FRE students can have the field trip credited toward their coursework.
Up to 5 course credits may be offered. These will also be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
