A warm welcome to our new international degree-seeking students! 🌍🎓

What a few days it was! On October 1–2, we welcomed our newly enrolled international degree-seeking students to TU Berlin — and got the new semester off to a great start.

From the first Welcome and getting to know TU Berlin to practical sessions on residency, support options and the essentials for international students, there was plenty to learn, ask and discuss. 💬

But the best part? Meeting new people! 🤝
Students shared their experiences, chatted over drinks and snacks, explored Berlin together on our city tour and ended the first day with an International Party at Café Hardenberg. 🎉

These days were not just about getting information: they were about finding your way around TU Berlin, making connections and starting your student life together. 🌍✨

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make these days so lively! 🫶

And to everyone who has just arrived: Welcome to TU Berlin — we’re happy to have you here! 💛

💻 Still getting started?

Our digital info session “Essentials for international degree-seeking students” will take place on October 20, 2026, 15:30–17:00 via Zoom. Registration required!

You can also prepare at your own pace with our online course “Getting Started as an International Student” on the ISIS course platform.

And don’t forget to check out the university-wide, faculty- and degree-specific introductory events to make the most of your start at TU Berlin! 🎓

🌍✨ What a great afternoon at our International Students Café!

We were so happy to see so many international degree-seeking students come together for our September session! 🚆🌿

We shared ideas for discovering Berlin and its surroundings with the Deutschlandticket, exchanged tips and experiences — but most importantly, people connected, exchanged contacts and even made plans for a trip together! 🫶

And that’s exactly what the International Students Café is all about: bringing people together and building a strong, growing international degree-seeking community at TU Berlin💛

The more people join, the more connections we can create — so spread the word and bring a fellow student next time! 📣

📅 Next session: Monday, 26 October 2026
🎓 Topic: Semester Start at TU – Arrive & Connect

Everyone is welcome — no registration required. Just drop by! 😊
