I didn’t.

And honestly, I think that’s the mistake.

Just 1 hour from Berlin, there’s this calm escape that feels like another world, canals, greenery, slow boats, no noise.

You can do it for around €22 if you plan it right.

Same place. Very different experience.

Before you book anything expensive for your next weekend, save this.

I still can’t believe a place like this exists so close to the city…

Spreewald felt like stepping into another world, tiny canals, peaceful forests, traditional boats and villages where time feels slower 🚣‍♀️

Definitely one of the most relaxing day trips I’ve done in Germany.

I found myself standing on a glass terrace in Gümüşhane…
looking down at a view that felt too beautiful to trust.

My fear of heights was loud in my head.
My curiosity was louder.

Terrified.
Amazed.
Completely present.

I don’t think I got over my fear that day…
but I did learn how it feels to not let it stop me.
