Nach dem großen Erfolg im letzten Jahr geht die interdisziplinäre e-Konferenz zum Themenfeld Gute Wissenschaft am 12. und 13. Oktober 2023 in die vierte Runde. Unter dem diesjährigen Motto „Integrity of Science“ finden zahlreiche Vorträge, Diskussionen und interaktive Workshops zu Themen wie Interessenkonflikt, KI & Diversität und Integration in der Wissenschaft, Methodik in der Wissenschaft und mehr statt. Ergänzt wird das Programm durch interaktive Vernetzungsangebote. Promovierende und Postdocs aller Fachrichtungen sind herzlich zur Teilnahme eingeladen!

Die disziplin-unabhängige Online-Konferenz, plus eine Veranstaltung in Präsenz, wird im Rahmen des Graduate Studies Support der Berlin University Alliance von der Charité und dem Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) veranstaltet. Teilnehmen können Promovierende und Postdocs der Freien Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technischen Universität Berlin und Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

❗SAVE THE DATE: (In)Credible Research is back! October 12 and 13, 2023❗

After last year's great success, the interdisciplinary e-conference on the topic of good science will enter its fourth round on October 12 and 13, 2023. Under this year's motto "Integrity of Science", numerous lectures, discussions, and interactive workshops will take place on topics such as Conflict of Interest, AI & Diversity and Inclusion in Science, Methodology in Science and more. The program will be complemented by interactive networking opportunities. PhD students and PostDocs from all disciplines are invited to attend!

The discipline-independent online conference , plus one event in presence, is organized by Charité and the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) as part of the Graduate Studies Support of the Berlin University Alliance. PhD students and postdocs of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin and Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin can participate.

❗Jameel Scholarships 2024: Extended Application Deadline until October 31, 2023❗

With support of the Jameel Education Foundation UK, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin will annually award two scholarships to doctoral candidates in the natural science fields of informatics/ computer science, mathematics, biology/ biomedicine, chemistry, physics, geography and agricultural science.

✅Scholarship period: three years
✅Amount of scholarship: € 1,450 per month plus, if applicable, a family allowance, language course costs, and a set research allowance
✅Planned commencement of studies: early 2024
✅Application deadline: 31 October 2023
