Berlin brought the rain, you brought the sunshine! ☔💜
Last Friday, we welcomed prospective students, curious minds and their families to our Berlin Campus Open Day!

From a warm welcome by our Dean and a mini-lecture on Winning in the Age of AI to discovering our programmes, career opportunities, entrepreneurship at Blue Factory and campus life, there was plenty to explore.
We also had conversations about sales and sustainability in Europe, lots of questions at our information tables, and of course, a very enthusiastic welcome from our favourite campus mascot! 🐻

🎂 10 years, two MSc programmes and a community spanning generations at ESCP in Berlin!

As prospective students arrived for Open Day at ESCP in Berlin, alumni returned to celebrate another important milestone: the 10th anniversary of our MSc in International Sales Management ( ) and MSc in International Sustainability Management ( ).

It was a special occasion that brought together different generations of the . Future students discovering the School, current students progressing through their studies and alumni returning to reconnect with the place where part of their journey began.

🎊 The anniversary programme featured reflections on a decade of MiSM and SustM, alumni keynotes, Barcamp exchanges and discussions exploring sustainability, sales and European identity.

The celebration also highlighted the entrepreneurial connections within our alumni community. The reception was catered by SOMA Cocktail Club, a company founded by a SustM alumnus, bringing an additional alumni contribution to the occasion.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to the next chapter of MiSM and SustM.

When founders meet the right people, good things can happen. 🚀

ESCP Blue Factory and SRH University brought together around 140 founders, business angels and members of Berlin’s startup community for the first Startup & Angels Matching Night.

From pitches and honest feedback at the Captain’s Tables to a rather unconventional round of Business Herzblatt - no slides, no pitch decks, nowhere to hide 👀 - the evening was all about creating real conversations between those building businesses and those with the experience, networks and capital to help them grow.

Congratulations to Malen Otero from onerio bio, our first Business Herzblatt, who won a dedicated mentoring session with Business Angel Munay Zamorano. 👏

And this was only the beginning: Startup & Angels Matching Night returns on 23 April 2027.

One last story to close our 10 Years of SUSTM & MISM series 💜

Meet Juliette Perignon, SUSTM alumna and Communications & Sustainability Specialist at Sidetrade.

For Juliette, learning alongside people from different cultures, academic backgrounds and perspectives simply felt like part of everyday life at ESCP. Looking back, she sees just how much that experience shaped her ability to adapt, collaborate and work across international environments. 🌍

Today, her career brings together sustainability, communications and strategy - a path that evolved in ways she hadn’t necessarily planned.

Her advice to students beginning their own journey? Be curious, make the most of the people around you, and don’t be afraid to explore a path that wasn’t part of the original plan.

And with Juliette’s story, we close a series celebrating a decade of different paths, perspectives and people - and the connections that continue long after ESCP. 🫶🏼

As our 10 Years of SUSTM & MISM stories continue, meet Michael Kerkhoff, whose ESCP network has stayed with him well beyond graduation.

A conversation with an ESCP alumnus at a career fair in Berlin turned into a lasting connection-and three and a half years later, that same alumnus hired Michael for the role he’s in today.

But some connections became even more personal: Michael met his now-wife in class at ESCP in 2017, and today they’re married with a little boy. 🫶🏼

His advice to current students? Embrace the moments that take you outside your comfort zone and invest in the people around you. Those connections might stay with you much longer than you expect.

Ten years on, Michael’s story is a reminder that sometimes the biggest impact comes from the people you meet along the way. ✨

A familiar space, with a rather new purpose. 📚

Our library has moved into one of the most distinctive spaces on the Berlin campus - the main hall, formerly known as the Forum.

With its two-storey layout and iconic architecture, the new library now offers space for up to 80 students, private study desks across the balconies, a curated book collection and a permanently staffed help desk.

And the old library? Now two new lecture halls. We do like to keep a good space busy.

On 21 September, we officially opened the doors and now it’s over to our students to make it their own 🫶🏼
