WHO ACTUALLY DECIDES WHAT?
Many questions regarding the Rundgang concern responsibilities and decision-making.
According to the Executive Board’s response, responsibilities are divided as follows:
SLIDE 2
PRESIDENT & CHANCELLOR
“The organizational and safety-related framework conditions for Rundgang 2026 were decided by the President and the Chancellor.”
They decide on:
• Safety
• Event operations
• Funding
• Sanctions
• Closures
• Measures in cases of conflict
SLIDE 3
RUNDGANG WORKING GROUP
“Within this established framework (...), the Rundgang Working Group can discuss implementation and procedures.”
The Working Group organizes and coordinates the Rundgang within the predetermined framework.
SLIDE 4
SECURITY & AWARENESS
“Neither the security company nor the awareness team can make decisions.”
SLIDE 5
WHO MAKES THE FINAL DECISION?
“Decisions are always made by the event management together with the President and the Chancellor.”

The AStA, together with the Student Parliament (StuPa), developed a catalogue of questions and submitted it to the Executive Board. We are presenting some of the answers here. You can find the full catalogue of questions on our website and in our bio.
