This time, they welcome the following speakers:

➡ Laura Brockamp (Consultant, BCG)

Moderated by Prof. Hendrik Hakenes and Lilly Fischer (Student Council), the speakers will share their personal experiences from their studies and careers and will be available to answer your questions. The event is open to all interested parties: students (bachelor/master/doctoral), alumni, and high school students. Afterwards, we invite you to a get-together in the Faculty Lounge—a great opportunity for networking and exchange.

Do you want to found a business, but you do not know how or where to begin?
In this talk, Dr. Elina Hafer will show you how enaCom at the University of Bonn can support you from the very first idea all the way to implementation - whether it is a startup, a side business, an association, or a NGO.

She will also share insights from two of her own projects: a puzzle tour through Bonn that has already been founded and an alcohol-free wine alternative that is currently still in development. Come around!

Public Lecture at the Hausdorff Center of Mathematics! 👨‍🏫

On Tuesday, 2nd of June, Paul Klemperer will visit the Hausdorff Center of Mathematics. His lecture will address key issues in auction design and illustrate them through examples of both successful and unsuccessful auctions. The english lecture starts at 7 p.m.

Was macht erfolgreiche Entwicklungszusammenarbeit aus? 🔍🌍

Darüber spricht Host Carolin Jackermeier mit Mona Mensmann, Professorin für Innovationsmanagement und Entrepreneurship bei ECONtribute an der Universität zu Köln.

Mona Mensmann forscht zur Psychologie des Unternehmertums und wie unternehmerisches Denken gefördert werden kann, besonders in Ländern mit niedrigerem Einkommen. In Togo hat sie in einer Langzeitstudie die Wirkung eines Trainingsprogramms für Kleinunternehmer:innen untersucht. Im Podcast sprechen die beiden darüber, wie Entwicklungszusammenarbeit funktioniert, ob Frauen und Männer gleichermaßen profitieren und warum viele Programme zu kurzfristig ausgelegt sind.
