Computational Sciences in Engineering (CSE) is an interdisciplinary, research oriented, and comprehe

The interdisciplinary, research oriented, and comprehensive degree program Computational Sciences in Engineering (CSE) encompasses engineering sciences, mathematics and computer sciences. It takes place in an interdisciplinary and bilingual environment. Students that have completed the CSE master program are able to solve subject-specific problems and gained knowledge in engineering within their s

pecialization. They can carry out and evaluate complex numerical analyses of engineering problems. Furthermore, graduates of the CSE program develop intercultural competences and language skills because of the international setup of the program, which opens up the global job market. Due to the research oriented profile of the program, graduates are also well-qualified for a scientific career.

CSE Welcome Reception 2025

On November 5, 2025, our annual CSE Welcome Reception marked the grand finale of our introductory phase. In a relaxed atmosphere, our new CSE batch 2025 enjoyed a friendly evening with CSE lecturers, alumni, senior students and supporters and made initial contacts.

These get-together gives the foundation for strong cohesion in our diverse CSE community, an important building block for successfully supporting students from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds in their studies.

We thank all participants and supporters for this wonderful evening and wish our CSE batch 2025 a great and successful start to CSE programme.

For your information: the trade union Verdi is calling a strike on Wednesday, February 12. BSVG is also affected. There will be no regular services on the entire Brunswick network - i.e. on all light rail lines and all 400 bus routes.
