Europäische Sommerschule für Mehrsprachigkeit in Luxemburg - Ein Projekt im Rahmen von EMT (European Master’s in Translation)
Die Generaldirektion Übersetzung des Europäischen Parlaments sowie andere in Luxemburg ansässige Übersetzungsdirektionen der europäischen Institutionen laden EMT-Masterstudenten im Bereich Übersetzung ein, Anfang Juli an einer Sommerschule teilzunehmen. Die Kosten für Unterkunft und Verpflegung werden übernommen, lediglich die Reisekosten müssen selbst getragen werden. Da unser Studiengang seit 2009 ununterbrochen Mitglied in dem EMT-Netzwerk ist, können unsere Masterstudierenden also daran teilnehmen.
Da diese Sommerschule in diesem Jahr als Pilotprojekt läuft und höchstwahrscheinlich für die kommenden Jahre etabliert werden soll, wäre es außerdem interessant, dieses Projekt von Anfang an zu begleiten.

This summer, for the first time, the Multilingualism Hub of Excellence for the EU institutions in Luxembourg is organising a MultilingualismEU Summer School in Luxembourg. A total of 35 students from all corners of the European Union will have the opportunity to visit the EU institutions in Luxembourg as well as the city itself. EU translation and interpretation staff will be providing training and giving presentations.
Among the 35 spaces, 27 are reserved for students of the European Master's in Translation.
We are contacting your university to offer the opportunity to be a part of this exciting pilot Summer School.
What does this entail?

Being part of this pilot gives one of your students the chance to be part of this interesting programme organised by the EU institutionsbased in Luxembourg.
The suggested selection process is as follows: the participating university is invited to select a candidate to join the EU SummerSchool and provide us with the 1) personal information form filled in, 2) their CV and 3) the motivation letter.
