Mit der Gründung der Anton-Rubinstein-Akademie im 2002 will man fortgeschrittenen Studenten und ausgebildeten Pianisten Möglichkeiten für eine künstlerische Weiterentwicklung anbieten: In Form von Meisterkursen, Vorträgen, Workshops und Auftritten und in Zusammenarbeit mit renommierten Künstlern und Pädagogen.

A season dedicated to the art of piano performance, artistic excellence and individual expression.

On 14 June 2026, the International Academy for Music Anton Rubinstein will welcome renowned pianist and professor Ilja Scheps for a public piano masterclass in its new premises at Bergische Landstraße 35b in Düsseldorf.

This inspiring event offers young pianists, teachers and music lovers a unique opportunity to experience the art of interpretation, sound, style and musical imagination at the highest level.

Konzertexamen Scholarships 2026

The Rubinstein Academy, in collaboration with the Blatow Stiftung, offers
5 full tuition scholarships for the Konzertexamen programme.

Fields of study:
Voice · Violin · Viola · Piano · Piano Chamber Music

This scholarship covers the tuition of the programme (2 years)
and is awarded to outstanding young musicians preparing for an international career.

Selection is based on artistic excellence and recommendation by our faculty.
