🌈 Gastmahl „Dresden is(s)t bunt – gemeinsam für Vielfalt!“
Was für ein schöner Nachmittag! Auch in diesem Jahr war unser International Office beim Gastmahl dabei. Gemeinsam mit vielen Dresdner*innen haben wir ein Zeichen für Weltoffenheit, Vielfalt und ein gutes Miteinander gesetzt. 🌍🤝
Zwischen interessanten Gesprächen, bunten Flaggen und leckerem Kuchen wurde gerätselt, gekickert, gelacht und ausprobiert. 🎌🍰⚽
Ein Highlight: Bei der Taiwanese Student Association konnten sogar eigene kleine Red Turtle Cakes aus Marzipan gestaltet werden. 🐢🇹🇼
Danke an alle, die unseren Tisch besucht und diesen Nachmittag so bunt gemacht haben – und natürlich an Atharva Thombre, ESN Dresden und die Taiwanese Student Association fürs Mitmachen! 💛

What a wonderful afternoon! Once again this year, our International Office took part in the banquet. Together with many Dresden residents, we sent a message of openness to the world, diversity, and harmony. 🌍🤝
Amid interesting conversations, colorful flags, and delicious cake, guests solved puzzles, played foosball, laughed, and tried new things. 🎌🍰⚽
One highlight: At the Taiwanese Student Association’s booth, visitors could even make their own little Red Turtle Cakes out of marzipan. 🐢🇹🇼
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table and made this afternoon so colorful—and, of course, to Atharva Thombre, ESN Dresden, and the Taiwanese Student Association for joining us! 💛

WIR SIND DABEI 🌍

Am 31. August, findet das 10. Gastmahl der statt. Auf dem Neumarkt wird dafür wieder eine riesige Tafel der Vielfalt aufgebaut, an der Menschen verschiedenster Hintergründe Platz nehmen, Speisen teilen und ins Gespräch kommen.

Das International Office findet ihr an Tischgruppe 20.
Besucht uns gerne zwischen 16 und 20 Uhr vorbei. Bei uns könnt ihr verschiedene Kuchenleckereien probieren und Tisch-Kicker oder ein Flaggen-Quiz spielen.

On August 31, the will host its 10th banquet. Once again, a huge table celebrating diversity will be set up at Neumarkt, where people from all walks of life can take a seat, share food, and strike up conversations.

You’ll find the International Office at table group 20.
Feel free to stop by between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. You can try a variety of delicious cakes and play table soccer or a flag quiz with us.

Letzte Woche hat es uns nach Zuschendorf verschlagen. 🍃 Nach einer kurzen Wanderung mit schöner Aussicht haben wir das Landschloss Zuschendorf erkundet und uns die botanische Sammlung angesehen. 🏰⛲ Danach haben wir noch etwas Zeit im Park verbracht, bevor es weiter nach Pirna ging. Dort gab's zum Abschluss noch ein leckeres Eis.🍦

Last week, we found ourselves in Zuschendorf. 🍃 After a short hike with beautiful views, we explored the Landschloss Zuschendorf and checked out the botanical collection. 🏰⛲ Afterward, we spent some more time in the park before heading on to Pirna. There, we finished off the day with a delicious ice cream. 🍦

It's okay to feel things 🫶 - Unter diesem Motto haben wir die interaktive Ausstellung „Wie geht's?“ im Deutschen Hygienemuseum besucht und uns mit Gefühlen, Mental Health und vielen spannenden Mitmach-Stationen beschäftigt.
Anschließend haben wir uns am Bootshaus im Großen Garten mit leckerem Essen gestärkt. Nach einer kurzen Regenpause ließen wir den Tag entspannt auf dem Carolasee ausklingen. 🚣‍♀️🌧️
Danke an alle, die trotz des Wetters und der anstehenden Klausuren dabei waren!

It’s okay to feel things 🫶 — Under this motto, we visited the interactive exhibition “How Are You?” at the German Hygiene Museum and explored emotions, mental health, and many exciting hands-on stations.
Afterward, we refueled with some delicious food at the boathouse in the Großer Garten. After a brief rain break, we wrapped up the day relaxing on Lake Carolasee. 🚣‍♀️🌧️

🚂Diesen Samstag waren wir mit der Weißeritztalbahn unterwegs. Die Weißeritztalbahn ist eine sächsische Schmalspurbahn und hat uns durch das Osterzgebirge nach Dippoldiswalde geführt. Dort angekommen haben wir im Museum für mittelalterlichen Bergbau im Erzgebirge archäologische Funde erkundet. Ausklingen lassen haben wir den Tag mit leckerem Döner und Eis.🥙🍦

🚂This Saturday, we took a ride on the Weißeritztalbahn. The Weißeritztalbahn is a Saxon narrow-gauge railway that took us through the Eastern Ore Mountains to Dippoldiswalde. Once there, we explored archaeological finds at the Museum of Medieval Mining in the Ore Mountains. We rounded out the day with a delicious kebab and ice cream.🥙🍦
