we are very happy to announce that our beloved conVenture - nordic Start-Up convention will take place again, this time on Thursday t. 18th of November from 16.00 o'clock at Technologiezentrum Flensburg!

From trash to treasures - with Kristian Lolk Rautert from Buy2Sell
Kristian from Buy2Sell discovered a small niche for himself 4 years ago, how to earn some extra income from his passion for electrical equipment. Only 4 years later, a start-up with 10 employees has grown out of it, which ships goods from the small town of Sønderborg all over the world and, on top of that, contributes to reducing electrical waste in the sense of the circular economy.
Pitch Perfect: How the speaker's voice influences start-up success - with Dr. Oliver Niebuhr from SDU
"According to most studies, people's number one fear is public speaking. Number two is death," says Dr. Oliver Niebuhr on his LinkedIn profile. But often founders have no choice but to convince others of their start-up idea - be it in small talks or in front of a large audience. Oliver knows what he is talking about, because he is the founder of a speech technology start-up and has already shared his knowledge with others on Quarks & Co (WDR), W-wie-Wissen (ARD), on Swiss television (SRF) as well as in Die Zeit, Die Welt and other print media. Weekly he inspires listeners in the podcast "Stimmt! Die Sprechviertelstunde". At conVenture, Oliver will take care of the further education of our start-up know-how and give us insights into the world of speaking. Be curious about the influence the voice has on the success of a start-up!
Soy-jar for our future - with Madleen Haufler and Sophia Siera from MaSoJa
Instead of recognizing a problem and then continuing to do business as usual, Madleen and Sophia actively addressed the problem. Both have a preference for plant-based yogurt. However, up to now it has always been packaged in plastic. In order to be able to consume both vegan and sustainable, Madleen and Sophia have simply developed their own soy yogurt in a deposit jar. Madleen and Sophia from MaSoJa - two founders with vision.
Last but not least, we invite everyone to get to know our start-ups at the Start-Up Pier with plenty of space for networking.

To enable our participants from Sønderborg to take part in the conVenture, we have arranged a free bus shuttle for you, which will take you from Alsion in Sønderborg to Technologiezentrum Flensburg and bring you back again after the event. You can find more information in the registration tool.

The conVenture is the networking event around the topic of start-ups in the German-Danish border region, where start-ups (of today and tomorrow), start-up supporters, experienced entrepreneurs, investors and people interested in start-ups meet.
The focus is on two start-up stories of young founders, as well as knowledgeable input on the topic of start-ups, networking and so also the Start-Up Pier, a small trade fair with regional campus start-ups. The event will be held in English. The conVenture is a joint event of the German and Danish VentureWærft docks: Jackstädt-Zentrum Flensburg, Industrie- und Handelskammer zu Flensburg, Technologiezentrum Flensburg, Syddansk Universitet, Sønderborg Vækstråd and Nordfriesisches Innovations-Center.
