European Studies Master Programme of the University of Flensburg Thus far we have had students from over 45 different countries!

Our Master programme provides a comprehensive and in-depth insight into relevant European themes within the disciplines of social sciences and the humanities, such as economic and politological theories, European law, European ideas, and European contemporary history. The programme lasts two years and is offered in co-operation with University of Southern Denmark. As an international programme, you will be studying with other young people from all over the world. All courses are taught in English here on our Flensburg campus. In addition to our multi-disciplinary offerings and international flare, the University of Flensburg is a tuition free university!

As uni life is not only about studying, but also about exploring, let me show you how I like to spend the weekends: 🏄🏽‍♀️🌊🐚 (water sports and beach days!)

You’re into watersports, too, or wanna become a surfer? Then Flensburg is the perfect match for you! 🌊

We have a looot of wind and open water, which makes it PERFECT for kitesurfing, windsurfing or foiling!🪁

And those who are looking for waves (like me): the Danish westcoast is just around the corner, offering some really good waves (there’s a reason why they call it Cold Hawaii’)! 🏄🏽‍♀️ It’s definitely worth a weekend trip!

Or maybe you just want to lay at the beach for a day, soaking in the sun – after all, Flensburg is a coastal town, so there’s plenty of options! 🌞

We’ll meet this Thursday at 14:00 at isa - Cafe & Eis - come by, say hi and sip a coffee (or tea or hot chocolate) with us! Also, feel free to bring your favourite board games 🙆🏽‍♀️

The local youth hostels are offering temporary rooms for students, apprentices, interns, and volunteers! Check out the website of Deutsche Jugendherbergen for more information 🙆🏽‍♀️

Okay, I admit: Flensburg is not known for being the sunniest city, but this summer really spoiled us!🌞 I can tell you: many afternoons were spent at the beach ⛱️
