🆘We have an important announcement to make.
From 2013 to 2023, we have organised 28 races in 9 countries where a total 982 drivers took part in ecoGP competitions on 17 tracks.✨
📣So, we need your help now!
For 2024 we have bad news for ecoGP, the calendar of Rafael de Mestre does not allow to organize a ecoGP in 2024, because starting from February he will be drive around the world almost the whole year. 😔
Organising an ecoGP is a question of time, but more importantly a question of money. 💶We identified a cool potential location where we could organise a 24h race in 2024, but we need your help.
🛑The costs for the race track in Austria near Vienna are about EUR 35.000 plus EUR 2431,00 for the Ambulance - never needed but nice to have - plus costs for marshals, security and helpers.
We are planning to have 20 pre-installed charge stations at the pit lane and hope to find a sponsor to install them for us to inspire other series to do the same in future.💪🔋
The math is easy to calculate, 40 teams agreeing to join ecoGP for a fee of EUR 1,000 per team consisting of 3 drivers, each would finance it, in case sponsors would join the fee could be drastically reduced.
🧐Imagine finding 4 Sponsors paying EUR 10,000 or 8 paying EUR 5,000! We could offer all teams to start for free, just paying the insurance of EUR 25 per driver would cover all costs. Our goal is to reduce the fee to a minimum EUR 600 per team.
🆘To reach this goal we'd need your help to convince sponsors to fund sending the amount they would agree to fund via email to 📩[email protected].
The money will be collected only if the amount of EUR 25,000 is reached. If this threshold is not reached, no one will have to pay a cent and there will be no ecoGP in 2024. We will publish the funding status online here:
