Meet team member Jasmin: Jasmin Lena Müller has been studying law at Goethe University Frankfurt since winter
semester 2019/2020 and is currently in her sixth semester. She earned her general university entrance qualification in Nuremberg in 2019. where she pursued her interest in analytical thinking with a W-seminar paper in higher mathematics. With her studies, Jasmin aims to become a human rights lawyer.
Jasmin successfully completed the intermediate exam (Zwischenprüfung) after the second semester. She grew up in France and Germany. She applied her knowledge of French while completing the DUDF (Diplome universitaire du droit francais) and during a semester abroad in Paris. She pursued her interest in international law by attending the Summer University on European Law in Vilnius in 2022, funded by a scholarship. After the Vis Moot, she intends to finish her major studies (Schwerpunktbereichsstudium) “Internationalization and Europeanization of Law” and further pursue her interest in human rights during an internship at the German Bar Association in Brussels.
In addition, due to her great interest in the digitalization of the legal world, Jasmin is a board member of the Legal Tech Lab Frankfurt. To further develop her skills, she completed an internship as a legal engineer in Berlin, where she used low- and no-code platforms to develop various tools that drive the automation of legal processes. Besides her studies, Jasmin works at the University of Frankfurt in the field of Educational Technologies. By participating in the Willem C. Vis Moot Court, Jasmin hopes to develop her rhetorical skills, get to know a new legal system and to establish international contacts all around the world.
In addition to her native language German, Jasmin is fluent in English and French and has a basic knowledge of Turkish. In her free time, she enjoys learning new languages, sewing and drawing.
