📚📣 Every moment of learning and preparing in the past year was worth it, offering us an immense new insight to diplomacy and International Relations.

With two years of living within a pandemic we are even so much more grateful to the team behind Model United Nations - NMUN, our faculty advisor Samantha Ruppel our University -Universität Frankfurt, and our sponsors , the Goethe University Fachbereich 03, Sparkassen- und Giroverband Hessen-Thüringen, Stiftung zur Förderung der internationalen wissenschaftlichen Beziehungen der Goethe-Universität and die Vereinigung von Freunden und Förderern der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt e.V. for making this experience possible!

👉Today we want to introduce you to our final committee, the United Nations Environment Assembly, also known as UNEA!

🇺🇳The UNEA brings together representatives of the 193 Member States of the UN, businesses, civil society, and other stakeholders to agree on policies to address the world’s most pressing environmental challenges. At this years NMUN our delegation will discuss the fields of the drastic reduction of maritime pollution, as well as the implementation of a circular economy for the SDGs.

👉We would like to introduce you to the UN Women committee today!

🇺🇳The United Nations entity UN Women is working for gender equality and the empowerment of women worldwide. Advocating rights for women and girls, the UN Women committee also is responsible for LGBTIQ+ rights.
At this years NMUN, our delegation will work on the topics of women as drivers of economic recovery and resilience, as well as combating gender inequality to end poverty.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is a specialized agency of the UN, with the aims of promoting world peace and security through international cooperation in education, arts, sciences, and culture. At this years NMUN we will discuss the topics of Information and communication technologies in vulnerable societies, as well as gender disparities and promoting gender equality in education.
Our delegation for the UNESCO consists of 2 members we are excited to introduce to you in the upcoming week!
