Our new Goethe MBA and Pharma MBA students are off to a great start! During our MBA Orientation Days, students had the opportunity to get to know each other, exchange ideas, and hear from Dr. Daniel Steiners, CEO at Roche Pharma, who delivered the Orientation Speech.

His insights into global investment decisions, pharmaceutical innovation, and the factors that shape where tomorrow’s therapies are developed offered an inspiring perspective on the challenges facing businesses and healthcare worldwide.

What drives deals in the sports industry? 💡 This is one of many key questions addressed by the part-time Sports Management MBA developed by Goethe Business School in cooperation with Eintracht Frankfurt, with support from Bundesliga.

From evolving business models to the commercial value of sports rights, transactions are shaping the future of professional sports.

On October 23, Goethe Business School will host an On-Campus Experience & Expert Talk featuring Dr. Konstantin Druker from PwC Deutschland. Drawing on his experience advising clubs, leagues, federations, agencies, sponsors, and investors, Konstantin will share insights into the latest trends in sports asset transactions, with a focus on rights holders.

Last week, our MBA students explored how culture influences communication, decision-making, and everyday interactions – and how cultural awareness can help prevent misunderstandings and strengthen collaboration in diverse teams. Through interactive exercises, simulations and discussions, they developed practical tools for navigating intercultural situations.

Many thanks to our lecturers Katharina Haxel and Divya Narayanan for an engaging workshop on Intercultural Competence! 🌍 As part of our voluntary personal development & skills workshops, this session complements the MBA curriculum by providing additional opportunities to strengthen communication, leadership and other practical skills.
