Experience in cell culture, chromatin immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry, microscopy and animal handling will give you a significant advantage. Stuttgart hosted the 4th German Pharm-Tox Summit (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Pharmakologie and Toxikologie) meeting in the past month. Our Institute was represented by Prof. Susanne Lutz who gave an enlightening talk entitled “Rho-dependent kinases in the heart: Friend or foe?”, Gabriela L. Santos, Abdul Rehman (PhD students in AG Lutz), Sze Ting Pang (PhD student in AG Zelarayan) and Will Seibertz (Master student in AG Voigt) who presented their posters.

Congratulations to Gabriela Leão Santos who was awarded with best poster prize for her poster entitled “Engineered connective tissues as a model for cardiac fibrosis – evidence for the ROCK-actin-LOX axis in regulating fibrotic tissue properties”.
