Congratulations Moritz! IGSSE Alumnus Moritz Thon of Project Team BioMat01 has won the prestigious Lee A. Segel Prize for "best original research paper in 2 years published in Bulletin of Mathematical Biology". His 2018 paper originates from his research stay at the University of Sydney in 2016. Moritz Thon delivered his award plenary lecture at the Annual Conference of the Society of Mathematical Biology in Montréal, Canada.

Congratulations to Batyr and Johannes of project team 11.01 ActiveElectroCat on a recent publication! Their research has lead to the optimum size for platinum fuel cell catalysts enabling to double their activity. Read the TUM press release here:
