As this year's International Winter University on IHL and IHRL comes to an end, we find ourselves at a critical moment for the implementation of International Law. In times of profound global challenges, the dissemination of and continued commitment to IHL and IHRL are more important than ever, as they form an essential foundation for safeguarding our shared humanity and dignity.
This year's IWU offered an intense, timely, and highly rewarding programme, marked by thoughtful discussions on the relevance of IHL in contemporary conflicts, the challenges of implementation, and truly inspiring exchanges among participants and lecturers alike.
This photo captures only a moment, but it reflects the collective engagement, critical thinking and shared commitment of a truly inspiring group of participants and lecturers who made this edition so meaningful.
