What makes a great evaluation? 👀

At 42, evaluations are more than a pass or fail. They're an opportunity to learn. 🤝

In this workshop our students explored what makes an evaluation fair, constructive, and valuable. Through mock evaluations, real-world scenarios and open discussions, they practiced asking the right questions, reviewing code critically, and giving meaningful feedback.

Scaling AI is hard. Doing it alone is harder.

Syntax changes, but the developer mindset scales. 🧠💻
In a world rapidly shifting toward AI agents, knowing how to scale those workloads in production is what separates good engineers from great ones. During a recent workshop at , software engineer Narcisse Obadiah broke down the power of Kubernetes and the realities of modern cloud architecture.
But the biggest takeaway wasn't just about container orchestration. It was about how we learn.
You can use ChatGPT to debug code at home, but when you hit a wall building complex systems, nothing replaces the hands-on, peer-to-peer support of a real community. The 42 Heilbronn pedagogy isn't just about learning tech tools, it's about building the resilience and thought process to tackle any project.

Piscine Week 4: The final countdown. 🚀

Four weeks ago, it all started with an ID check.
New faces, new challenges and no idea what was coming.

Since then?
Late nights, early mornings, failed attempts, small wins and a lot of growth. 🧠⚡️

Week 4 was the last push:
💻 final projects
🧠 8-hour final exam
🎉 and a well-deserved closing ceremony

This wasn’t just about learning. It was about pushing through, figuring things out together and not giving up.

We’re proud of every single Pisciner who took on this journey. Now it’s time to celebrate. You’ve earned it. 🙌
