Das Referat Kultur hat hat auch dieses Jahr wieder eine Theaterfahrt organisiert. Es geht am 16.01.2026 in das Deutsche Nationaltheater Weimar zu "Kiss me, Kate" (DE). Tickets gibt es noch bis Ende dieser Woche (bis zum 01.12.2025) unter diesem Link https://tickets.stura-ilmenau.de/kultur/kissme/. Die Tickets unterscheiden sich dabei in Tickets für Studierende (10,50€) und Mitarbeiter (28,70€). Für alle die, die keine Lust haben selber zu fahren wurde auch die Busfahrt ab Ilmenau organisiert. Dies könnt ihr ebenfalls unter den obigen Link dazu buchen (Studierende 6€ und Mitarbeiter 12.00€).

The Department of Culture has organised another theatre trip this year. On January 16th 2026, we will be going to the German National Theatre in Weimar to see ‘Kiss Me, Kate’ (DE). Tickets are available until the end of this week (until December 1st 2025) at this link: https://tickets.stura-ilmenau.de/kultur/kissme/. There are different ticket prices for students (€10.50) and staff (€28.70). For those who do not wish to drive themselves, a bus trip from Ilmenau has also been organised. You can also book this via the link above (students €6 and staff €12.00).

Liebe Studierende,
ich hoffe, diese Nachricht erreicht euch wohlauf. Wir möchten euch heute über eine bevorstehende Änderung in Bezug auf das Semesterticket informieren, die sich auf die Ticketkosten auswirken könnte.
Aktuell beträgt der Preis für das Semesterticket moderate 8,54€ pro Monat. Dies ermöglichte euch eine kostengünstige Mobilität innerhalb des regionalen Schienenverkehrs. Allerdings möchten wir euch darauf aufmerksam machen, dass aufgrund der Einführung des Deutschland Tickets eine Anpassung der Semesterticket-Kosten in Erwägung gezogen wird.
Die genaue Erhöhung ist derzeit noch nicht festgelegt, aber es wird geschätzt, dass diese zusätzlichen Kosten voraussichtlich im Bereich von 30€ pro Monat liegen könnten. Wir verstehen, dass finanzielle Überlegungen eine wichtige Rolle für viele von euch spielen, und daher möchten wir gerne eure Meinung dazu hören.
Um uns bei der Entscheidung über die genaue Preisanpassung zu helfen, bitten wir euch, uns mitzuteilen, wie viel ihr bereit wärt, zusätzlich pro Monat für das Semesterticket zu zahlen. Eure Rückmeldungen sind für uns von großer Bedeutung und werden in die endgültige Entscheidung einfließen.

On January 31, the Vice President for Studies and Teaching invites you to a round table discussion with the Vice President in room EAZ 1337/38 from 5:00 pm.

The discussion round offers all students at TU Ilmenau the opportunity to address topics relating to teaching and studying in an open atmosphere. The results of the survey of first-year students, students and graduates will also be presented at the event. The program will be held in German from 5 p.m. onwards, from 6 p.m. onwards it will be in english.

Am 31. Januar lädt die Vizepräsidentin für Studium und Lehre ab 17:00 Uhr zur Gesprächsrunde mit der Vizepräsidentin“ in den Raum EAZ 1337/38.

Die Gesprächsrunde bietet allen Studierenden der TU Ilmenau die Möglichkeit Themen rund um Lehre und Studium im einer offen Atmosphäre anzusprechen. Bei dem Termin werden auch die Ergebnisse der Befragung von Studienanfängerinnen und -anfängern, Studierenden sowie Absolventinnen und Absolventen zu geben. Ab 17 Uhr finden die Programmpunkte in der deutschen Sprache statt. Ab 18 Uhr in englischer Sprache.

Am 7. Juli 2022 um 20 Uhr findet im Audimax das Studierendenkonzert im Rahmen der Reihe "Musik im Audimax" statt. Dazu wollen wir euch herzlich einladen. In der Studierendenschaft unserer Universität gibt es einige sehr gute Musiker, die nun im Rahmen dieses Projektes die Möglichkeit bekommen, die Freude an der Musik mit den Menschen unserer Universität zu teilen. Die Beteiligten werden auf ihren jeweiligen Instrumenten Werke von verschiedensten Meistern der klassischen Musik zum Klingen bringen. Vertreten sind unter anderem Bach, Mozart, Mussorgski, Dvorak und Chopin. Auch eine Eigenkomposition sowie die weltberühmte "Mondscheinsonate" von Ludwig van Beethoven werden zu hören sein.
Mit dem Einlass wird ab 19:30 Uhr begonnen. Der Eintritt ist kostenlos!

On July 7, 2022 at 8 pm the "Student's Concert" will take place as part of the series "Music in the Audimax". Within the student body of our university there are some very accomplished musicians. This project gives them an opportunity, to share their love of music with the people at our university. The participants will perform works by various masters of classical music on their respective instruments. Among others, Bach, Mozart, Mussorgski, Dvorak and Chopin are represented. Also an own composition as well as the world-famous "Moonlight Sonata" by Ludwig van Beethoven will be heard.
Admission will begin at 19:30. Entry is free!

Die Gremienwahlen 2022 sind in vollem Gange, doch wer steckt eigentlich hinter ihrer Durchführung? Das ist natürlich die Wahlkommission der Studierendenschaft. Ihr obliegt die Vorbereitung und Durchführung der studentischen Gremienwahlen. Außerdem beschließt sie über die Gültigkeit der eingereichten Wahlvorschläge und stellt das Wahlergebnis fest. Die Wahlkommission besteht dabei aus einer Handvoll Studierender, die sich nicht selbst zur Wahl aufstellen lassen, sowie einem Vorsitz samt Stellvertretung, welche als Kommunikationsbeauftragte fungieren. Des Weiteren gibt es noch die Wahlleitung, welche die Wahl nach den Beschlüssen der Wahlkommission durchführt und ebenfalls zahlreiche organisatorische Aufgaben übernimmt. In der Regel treffen sich alle Mitglieder ein Mal im Monat, um aktuelle Geschäfte zu klären, Werbemaßnahmen für die nächste Wahlperiode zu planen und vieles mehr.

The committee elections of 2022 are currently in full swing, but who is behind their organization process? Of course, that’s the students’ election commission. Their job is the preparation and ex*****on of the committee elections. Furthermore, they make sure every candidacy that gets handed in is valid and announce the election results. They consist of a group of students who won’t be able to candidate themselves, as well as the election chairmanship and their deputies, who are in charge of handling important communication tasks. The election leader also plays an important role, since they execute the election according to the commissions decisions and take care of many other organizational matters. Usually, all members od the commission meet once a month to talk business, plan advertising methods for the next election period and handle many more important matters.

Vom 13. bis 17.06.2022 finden an der TU Ilmenau die Wahlen zum Studierendenrat (StuRa), der Promovierendenvertretung, den Fachschaftsräten der Fakultäten EI, IA, MB, MN und WM sowie den studentischen Vertreter*innen in den Fakultätsräten, im Gleichstellungsrat der TU Ilmenau, dem Senat und im Institutsrat Physik statt.

Einreichen der Wahlvorschläge: von Freitag, den 20.05.2022, bis Montag, den 30.05.2022, 14 Uhr bei der Wahlkommission per Mail an [email protected] oder postalisch an die Wahlleitung (Studierendenrat der TU Ilmenau, Max-Planck-Ring 7, 98693 Ilmenau). Die Formulare für Wahlvorschläge sind unter stura.eu/wahlen zu finden und liegen im Büro des StuRa aus.

From 13 to 17 June 2022, the elections for the student council (StuRa), the doctoral students' representation, the student councils of the faculties EI, IA, MB, MN and WM as well as the student representatives in the faculty councils, in the equal opportunities council of the TU Ilmenau, the senate and in the physics institute council will take place at the TU Ilmenau on the basis of the Thuringian Higher Education Act and the election regulations of the student body adopted by the student council of the TU Ilmenau in June 2021 in the second amendment version.

Submission of election proposals: from Friday, 20.05.2022, up to and including Monday, 30.05.2022, 2 p.m. to the election commission by email to [email protected] or by post to the election officer (Studierendenrat der TU Ilmenau, Max-Planck-Ring 7, 98693 Ilmenau). Die Theaterfahrten erleben dieses Semester ihr Comeback! 🎭 Die Fahrten ermöglichen Studierenden und Mitarbeitenden, auf möglichst einfachem Wege Theatervorstellungen und Sinfoniekonzerte in der Nähe von Ilmenau zu besuchen. Für die Anreise stellt der StuRa einen Bus.

Diesmal wollen wir zum Staatstheater Meiningen fahren und uns die Oper La Boheme von Giacomo Puccini anhören. Eine kurze Zusammenfassung des Inhalts ein paar Bilder und die Besetzung findet ihr auf der Website des Theaters: www.staatstheater-meiningen.de/produktionen/la-bohme.html.

Die Busfahrt kostet für Studenten 4,80€, für Mitarbeiter 9,60€. Für die Theatertickets gilt folgende Preisregelung: Studierende bis 25: 15€, ab 26Jahren : 27€, Mitarbeitende: 30€

The theater trips are having their comeback this summer! 🎭 The aim of this event is, to give students and employees an easy way to visit theater performances and concerts in the area around Ilmenau. To come there, the StuRa is going to rent a bus.

This time we want to go to the State Theater Meiningen where we are going to listen to the opera La Boheme by the italian composer Giacomo Puccini. A short summary of the plot, a few pictures and the cast can be found on the website of the theater: www.staatstheater-meiningen.de/produktionen/la-bohme.html.

The bus ticket costs 4,80€ for students and 9,60€ for employees. Regarding the theater tickets the prices are as follows: students up to age 25: 15€, older students: 27€, Employees: 30€
