Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot is one of the most prestigious international moot court competitions for law students in the world. Since 1993, it has been held annually in Vienna, Austria attracting more than 67 nations with 282 law schools from all around the world. Vis Moot are primarily the UN Convention on the Sale of Goods and Arbitration Rules. The various universities and the

ir students get the chance to compete against each other, to deal with commercial issues and socialize. The University of Jena is participating since 2007/2008 and sends this year its 4. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot ist einer der größten weltweiten universitären Wettbewerbe, der seit 1993 jährlich ausgetragen wird. Inhaltlich konzentriert er sich auf das Wirtschaftsrecht. Hier sind vor allem materiell- und formell-rechtliche Problemkreise des UN-Kaufrechts und der Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit von Belang. Am Wettbewerb nehmen Universitäten verschiedenster Nationen teil. Im vergangenen Jahr waren bei den mündlichen Verhandlungen in Wien 67 Nationen mit 282 Universitäten vertreten. Die verschiedenen Hochschulen und ihre Studenten bekommen hier eine Möglichkeit, sich aneinander zu messen, mit wirtschaftsrechtlichen Fragestellungen auseinander zu setzen sowie Kontakte zu knüpfen. Die Friedrich Schiller Universität Jena nimmt seit dem Jahr 2007/2008 teil und sendet in diesem Jahr sein 4. Team in die Endrunde nach Wien

Thank you to the four amazing opposing teams for challenging and inspiring pleadings, to the arbitrators for their invaluable feedback, and to everyone who supported, coached, and cheered for us along the way.

Yesterday Wach und Meckes welcomed us in their office in Munich for two pleadings sessions.

We had a great experience presenting our pleadings and truly appreciate the insightful feedback.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a lovely evening at with good conversations and delicious food. The evening ended on a relaxed note with some good time together at the bar.
