Dear Congress Participants,
We hope this message finds you well and joyful. Here are some updates from our team that we would like to share with you:
• 🚶♂️Excursions
Excursions will take place tomorrow from 2:00 PM. There are still spaces available for some excursions, including a guided tour to the Bach Museum, City Stroll, etc. If you are free tomorrow afternoon, feel free to book a ticket at the Info Point during the day. Don’t miss this chance to explore the city’s attractions!
• 📚Exhibition Booths
A variety of exhibition booths are set up in the foyer of the Augusteum (near the tea and coffee area). Special discounts and information are available for our IABS congress participants.
• Live-streaming Update
Please note there will be no live-streaming in room HS3 tomorrow from 9:00 to 12:00.
• Sustainability
A notice before your departure: if you would like to support our efforts to recycle plastic products, you are very welcome to return your name tag to the Info Point.

The schedule for tomorrow, Thursday, August 14, is slightly different from previous days. The academic program will take place only in the morning, from 9:00 to 12:30. In the afternoon, excursions to some interesting spots in the city will be offered. Please remember to bring the excursion tickets you received at check-in.
In the evening, some special events can again be expected:
• 18:00–19:00 European Regional Meeting
• 19:00–20:30 Festschrift Reception for Professor Paul Harrison (By Invitation Only)
• From 19:00 Khyentse Foundation Networking Event for PhD Students and Postdocs
Additionally, we would like to bring your attention to the “Yogācāra and Abhidharma” International Workshop taking place at the Institute for South and Central Asian Studies, Leipzig University, on Saturday, August 16. The registration deadline is tomorrow, August 14. For more details, please see the poster attached.
