What happens when you leave the world of professional sports and step into a family business?

Meet Patrick Bauer (Master Sports Business and Communication, Class of 2018), who spent more than six years helping shape the growth of FC Bayern Basketball before taking on an entirely new challenge: preparing to lead a family-owned logistics company in the Allgäu region.

💡 The transition wasn't always easy. Moving from a familiar environment into a completely new industry meant stepping out of his comfort zone, starting from scratch, and embracing the uncertainty that comes with change. Yet, it was exactly this challenge that became an opportunity for personal and professional growth.

🚀 From sponsorship sales and partnership management in professional sports to driving digital transformation, employer branding, and succession planning in logistics, Patrick's journey shows that leadership skills can transcend industries.
