Whether it’s writing an abstract, composing a term paper, preparing presentations, developing outlines and arguments, or using German academic language correctly – it can be challenging.

That’s why the International Office and the Language Centre are here to help! Join us for a relaxed and open discussion over a cup of tea or coffee. Share your questions, experiences, and ideas about academic work and writing. Let’s see if you are well-prepared for academic thinking and working, and find out what additional support you might need.

Nadine and Hyeonjeong are real buddies - as part of the university's BUDDY programme. Nadine has been supporting Hyeonjeong, who came from Seoul and had to find her way around Neubrandenburg, for a year now. As a buddy, you help with visits to the authorities, language barriers and more. The connection has enabled Hyeonjeong to make important contacts. She now feels more confident and will soon be starting an internship in Wuppertal. Would you also like to support international students?

Wie international ist dein Studium? BINTHO will’s wissen!

In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst (DAAD) lädt das International Office zur Teilnahme an der BINTHO-Umfrage ein – einer bundesweiten Studierendenbefragung, die vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) finanziert wird. Diese Umfrage bietet dir die Gelegenheit, die Internationalität deines Studiums zu reflektieren und aktiv zur Weiterentwicklung unserer Hochschule beizutragen.

Unter allen Teilnehmenden werden rund 400 Preise verlost, darunter Notebooks, Tablets sowie Wertgutscheine von über 500 Anbietern wie Amazon, Media Markt, Zalando, IKEA und mehr. Die Umfrage beginnt um 11. Dezember 2023. Mehr Informationen gibt's in den nächsten Tagen auf unserer Website hs-nb.de.

We've got some fantastic news for you! The Hochschulsportverein is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the German Championship in Ultimate Frisbee - 3rd League MIXED NORD-OST, right here in Neubrandenburg! 🇩🇪🥏

This is a historic moment for our university as it's the FIRST EVER time we're hosting such an event in our beautiful city. 🎉

📅 Dates: Saturday, September 9th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
📅 **Sunday, September 10th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
🏟️ Location: Jahnstadion, Neubrandenburg
