✨ Welcome to all new international students at the University of Oldenburg! We wish you a great time on our green campuses and successful studies! 💚
🤝Being international means "being open to the unknown and engaging with others and with what is different," said the university's Vice President for Studying and Teaching, Professor Andrea Strübind, in her welcome speech. "Getting to know one another and, in the process, learning to appreciate what was previously unfamiliar; accepting others with their history, their culture and their religion: in our view, this is the best foundation for a peaceful world."
🌍🌎🌏 There are currently around 1,750 international students on campus, which is more than at any other time in the university's 52-year history. They come from Indonesia, Egypt, Brazil or Spain. Around 500 international students are set to begin or continue their academic journey in Oldenburg this winter semester, either as exchange or degree students. The university has 321 active partnerships with other institutions around the world, many of which have sent students to Oldenburg this semester.
