Through the International Tutoring Program, the Student Union of Passau University, would like to offer the Foreign Degree-Seeking Students, the opportunity to:

◦ discover the life outside the Lecture Halls on and outside the Campus of the University
◦ engage with other foreign and german students and
◦ get support and counseling on any matter relevant to their residence, studies, finances e.t.c.

For the last meetup of this year we are planning two events this Friday 17th

📌The Glühwein tour will begin at 18.00-18.10, we will meet at the NK kloster Entrance, please register by Thursday at 23.00 at the latest, because there are only 12 places, the first round we will be offering 🥳

*where?* Rio Cultural Bar, Lederergasse 50, 94032 Passau (Innstadt)

*2G+* rules apply: please make a test on Friday or Thursday before coming to the event

It is possible to get tested at the university in the ZIM Gebäude with no appointment. The test center at the university is open from 8AM to 2PM only.

Otherwise there are other options (until 17PM or 18 PM) in the city you can find here:

📌There is also the possibility to get free self tests at the ZB (central bib) at the uni.

Dear International Students! we are inviting you to a Stammtisch in Rio!

The Christmas markets have been cancelled in all Bavaria, so we decided to organize on the 26th a Meet Up at Rio
The places are limited to 12 , so please register to confirm you are coming.

*where?* Rio Cultural Bar, Lederergasse 50, 94032 Passau (Innstadt), ask for the *International Students Stammtisch* when you arrive!

*2G+ rules* apply: please make a test on Friday before coming to the event (you can get tested at the university in the ZIM Gebäude with no appointment), it only takes 2 mins and the result of the test arrives after 15-20 minutes via email and/or sms. Dear international students!

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that 2G rule will come into force almost everywhere soon. The access to mensa is now only possible with a certificate of vaccination or of recovery from the virus.
On the Campus everyone has to comply to the 3G rule . Regular tests are to be done if you do not have a Greenpass or certificate of recovery. It is anyways adviced to do regular tests in general.

Because of this, we are asking you to take the opportunity to vaccinate yourself in Passau. You can find more information here: https://bit.ly/3FpRCSC

If you are not vaccinated with a vaccine not approved by the EMA in Germany, you will still need to be vaccinated in order to comply with the 2G rules. The German authorities have made a recommendation that you vaccinate yourself again. More information can be found in the RKI site:

Gemäß Änderung der Bayerischen Infektionsschutzmaßnahmenverordnung (14. BaylfsMV) vom 16.11.2021 sind unsere Mitarbeiter*innen verpflichtet, in der Mensa oder Cafeteria Euren Identitäts- und 2G-Nachweis (Nachweis über eine Corona-Impfung bzw. -Genesung) zu kontrollieren.

‼ Es ist kein Verzehr ohne 2 G-Nachweis möglich! ‼ Antigen-Schnelltests oder PCR-Tests reichen nicht mehr aus. Bitte haltet Euren Identitäts- und 2G-Nachweis bereit, um eine Schlangenbildung möglichst zu vermeiden. 🐍

Bitte beachtet zudem, dass Ihr beim Betreten der Mensen und Cafeterien eine FFP2-Maske tragen müsst. 😷 Die FFP2-Maske könnt Ihr an Eurem Sitzplatz natürlich wieder abnehmen.

Starting from today you can register for the office hours online (via zoom)

You can ask us any questions or give us some ideas on future events we could organize and register to the upcoming ones!

Just text us either on WA, Instagram or FB and we will send you the link to the zoom meeting :)

We will be online on Tuesdays from 17.00 to 18.00 and Fridays from 9.00 to 10.00 💻🖱️
