Thanks to everyone who joined our first Find-a-Friend Board Game Night in Building 17! 🎮
It was a fun and relaxed evening full of board games, conversations, and new connections. Exactly what campus life is all about!

Missed the event? You can still join the Find-a-Friend program on Moodle and take part in future events! The program brings together small groups of students with shared interests, making it easier to meet new people and build friendships. You’ll also receive a certificate of participation.

To join, simply enroll in the Find-a-Friend course (ID 25225) on Moodle, answer a few short questions, and we’ll match you with a group within 1–2 weeks. We look forward to welcoming you! ✨

A sincere thank you to Mr. Vlatko Momirovski for leading an excellent Lighthouse session on “AI in Literature Research” for over 30 participants!

Mr. Momirovski provided a critical overview of current AI tools, equipping students with practical strategies to responsibly integrate these current technologies into their academic workflows. His expert insights highlighted how AI can improve literature reviews, boost research efficiency, and drive stronger academic outcomes.

Lighthouse is a self-development seminar designed to provide guidance and direction for our students. It also connects students with the university’s available resources while building bridges to relevant industry partners and collaboration opportunities.

Thank you for taking the time to share your expertise and inspire the next generation of professionals.

We were thrilled to host more than 20 engaged participants on Zoom for a deep dive into his academic journey. As an IMIS alumnus, he provided invaluable insights into the transition from business studies to advanced research.

Happy International Women’s Day (08.03)! 💐

Today we celebrate women who continue to grow, lead, and pursue their ambitions with strength, beauty, and grace.

An inspiring example from the IMIS community is our Course Director, Prof. Dr. Valerie Wulfhorst. In the latest IMIS Alumni Newsletter (anyflip.com/bookcase/cnmv), she shares insights into her daily life and reflects on the many roles women balance as professionals, mothers, partners, friends, and individuals with their own passions.

Her advice is simple but powerful: never give up your independence, financially, mentally, or emotionally, and keep pursuing your education and goals.
