We´re getting started with our pilot project!!!
Developed in February this year at the Virtual Hackathon in Herrenberg together with local creatives and citizens as well as students from Hochschule der Medien and Start-ups from Startup Center Hochschule der Medien the "Chamäleon Spaces" are now becoming reality. They represent a hybrid idea of different creative floorspace concepts which come into play in rotation. Among other things, ideas from the regional art and culture scene are used to design the spaces and merge with offers from retail, gastronomy and New Work. Only with the on-going support of local representatives of these areas such as Nathan Grant Kitch, Harald Amelung from Coworking0711, Tim Rühle from Fit & Fröhlich , Johannes Storost from Mauerwerk and grellgelb studio for communication the created vision can now be realised.
From Nov. 6th to Dec. 4th , we will conduct a piloting phase: The first "Chamäleon Space" will be implemented in the empty guest house "Zur Rose" at Reinhold-Schick-Platz in (Germany) and will offer, for example, design products in a pop-up store and coworking workplaces. In addition, there will be cultural events, maker workshops and tastings during the week and at weekends. So for a while, the traditional guest house will be transformed into an exhibition space, a workspace or, at the weekend, a cinema and event space. By implementing this creative concept, we hope to fill the city center with life and ever-changing content, as well as to foster long-term collaborations. The "Chamäleon Spaces" are funded by the EU project Interreg Cinema
Together with our great project partners from Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart GmbH and Stadt Herrenberg , we are happy to invite anyone who will be round the corner during this time - for an event, to work temporarily or simply to enjoy the creative environment.
And we will start on Nov. 6th with an "open day" to visit the space and a kick-off event at 4 pm with live music and finger food. Also here, feel free to join. We´re looking foward to meet you!
