Young Bauhaus Research Conference and boundaries on the air!
"Radiosalon für Alltägliches“ with Julia Bonn und Anna-Lena Wenzel who were with us at the conference will be on the topic of "Grenzen, Grenzräume und Grenzobjekte": July 29 from 7.30 to 8.30pm on reboot.fm. We will be online tomorrow evening – that's for sure!

Dr. Timo Kaerlein is a research associate at the institute for media science at the Universität Paderborn and at the Universität Siegen and coordinator of the doctorate program “Locating Media”. He did his PhD on “Smartphones as a digital close-body-technology”. In his work he focuses on intimate and personal forms of Human-Computer-Interactions. As a speaker for the InterFace AG he is researching about interfaces and the human interaction with technical devices. Timo Kaerlein will be at the conference with a talk on "Near-body technologies and the paranoid-schizophrenic condition of digital media". Welcome to Weimar!

The PhD exhibition is taking shape: Opening with Prof. Jan Willmann and a guided tour of the exhibition team at the University Library today at 4:30pm.

At 5pm the opening is followed by the research walk which will end at the Bauhaus.Atelier for a get-together of the Young Bauhaus Research Conference. Looking forward to meet you there!
