Excellence in law. Excellence in business. One remarkable EBS journey. 🎓

An outstanding achievement for EBS graduate Alexander Rieß: He graduated top of his class in both the Bachelor of Laws and the Master in Business for Legal Professionals. On top of that, he completed the First State Examination in Law with an exceptional result of 14.26 points, ranking 3rd out of 727 graduates.

Today, Alexander continues his journey at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, where he is pursuing his doctorate in corporate law.

Congratulations on these remarkable achievements, Alexander. We’re excited to see where your journey takes you next! 👏

A few weeks in, and it’s starting to sink in: our graduates aren’t just leaving, they’re becoming part of something bigger.

Celebrating EBS Universität’s 2026 Social Impact Thesis Award Winners 🌍

During this year’s graduation ceremony, the SRH Social Impact Thesis Awards 2026 honoured three outstanding pieces of academic work addressing important questions of social change.

Congratulations to this year’s awardees:

🎓 Franziska Kunze, for her bachelor’s thesis exploring how generative AI is changing the art market and challenging established ideas of authorship, value and legitimacy.

🎓 Victoria Hoffmann, for her master’s thesis examining the gender pay gap in Germany and Luxembourg and the potential impact of the EU’s new pay transparency directive.

🎓 Carina Keller, for her dissertation on how organisations engage with the climate crisis and how individuals collectively organise and act in response to it.

From the future of art and equality in the workplace to organisational responses to climate change, this year’s award-winning research highlights how academic work can contribute to a better future.

Thanks to the generous support of SRH and to everyone involved in recognising research that reaches beyond the academic context and offers valuable impulses for positive societal change.

Looking back at EBS graduation that brought people together from all over the world. 🌍 Some came from just around the corner, others crossed borders and time zones to be there. Behind every graduate stands a network of people who believed in them, like parents, siblings, partners and friends who made this journey possible.

From Peking University and Singapore Management University to Cornell University, Australian National University and universities across Spain, France, Italy, Germany and beyond, our exchange students bring a wide range of legal and academic perspectives to EBS.

During their semester with us, they’ll not only study alongside our students at the Law School, but also experience life on campus and in the Rheingau.

Open Day at EBS Universität 🎓

The past few weeks have been full of exciting moments at EBS: we welcomed new faces, said goodbye to our graduates, and on Saturday, we opened our doors for Open Day.

It was wonderful to see so many new faces on campus and meet prospective students who are interested in our Bachelor’s degrees, Master’s programmes or Law studies at EBS.

But perhaps the most exciting part of Open Day is discovering the campus itself and getting a feel for the place and imagining what it might be like to study right here one day.
