The objective of this course is to impact community development through positive design implementation in the field. We will use investigative processes and strategies to produce design solutions within the community of La Piedra, Dominican Republic. While collaborating with the Guanîn Community Outreach program, we will investigate a problem of magnitude that impacts the community’s ability to li

ve life at their fullest. We will demonstrate sensitivity to cultural perspectives while contending with poverty issues and working in a collaborative framework.
