Le club scientifique MECATRO a été fondé en Février 2015 au sein du département de la maintenance industrielle à la faculté des Sciences de l’ingénieur de l’Université M’hamed Bouguerra Boumerdès . L’appellation MECATRO vient de la mécatronique qui est une spécialité récemment ouverte par le département et qui s’est révélé intéressante pour les étudiants du domaine technique car elle pouvai

réunir plusieurs spécialités à la fois comme l’électronique, mécanique, électrique, informatique et automatisme ce qui a motiver les étudiants de ces diverses spécialités à se réunir pour fonder le club.
