ESSA Achieves Excellence in ICT Training in Japan
Dr. Imane Nedjar, Director of the ICT Center at the Higher School of Applied Sciences of Tlemcen, has completed her training in Japan with a top ranking. The course, entitled "ICT Core Personnel Development (A) – IT Architect," was organized by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency).

The six-month program aimed to strengthen skills in analyzing organizational problems and designing structured ICT solutions. This training is perfectly aligned with the digital modernization vision championed by our school and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Furthermore, it will contribute to the development of skills within the ESSA Tlemcen ICT Center.

يتقدم البروفسور رويسات بوشريط, مدير المدرسة العليا للعلوم التطبيقية تلمسان بخالص التهاني إلى كافة أسرة المدرسة بمناسبة صدور قرار إنشاء وإعتماد مخبر البحث Applied Sciences Interdisciplinary laboratory (ASIL) بالمدرسة.
يأتي إنشاء هذا المخبر كثمرة جهود المدرسة من خلال مشروع المؤسسة لإرساء دعائم بحث علمي متعدد التخصصات مفيد للمجتمع وكذا تعبئة الأساتذة وجهودهم من أجل جعل هذا المخبر حاضنة رسمية المشاريع العلمية التطبيقية. مما يفتح آفاقا جديدة للابتكار والتطوير التكنولوجي.
نبارك لأساتذتنا وطلبتنا هذا الانجاز ونتطلع لما سيقدمه باحثو المخبر من إسهامات نوعية في المستقبل.

Professor Rouissat Boucherit, Director of the Higher School of Applied Sciences of Tlemcen, extends his sincere congratulations to the entire school community following the decision to establish and accredit the Applied Sciences Interdisciplinary Laboratory (ASIL) within our institution.

The creation of this laboratory is the result of the school's strategic efforts to lay the foundations for multidisciplinary scientific research with societal benefits. It also reflects the dedication of our professors to establishing this laboratory as an official incubator for applied scientific projects, opening new horizons for innovation and technological development.

On Monday, December 15, 2025, the school’s regular board meeting was held under the joint chairmanship of Professor Merahi BOUZIANI, Rector of the University of Sidi Bel Abbès, and Professor Rouissat BOUCHRIT, Director of ESSAT.

The meeting focused on the financial management for the years 2024 and 2025, as well as the proposed budget for 2026. Board members reviewed the school’s management and governance indicators and discussed strategic orientations aimed at supporting the institution’s future development.
يوم الاثنين 15 ديسمبر 2025، عُقد الاجتماع الدوري لمجلس إدارة المدرسة برئاسة مشتركة لكلٍّ من الأستاذ البروفيسور مراحي بوزياني، رئيس جامعة سيدي بلعباس، والأستاذ البروفيسور رويسات بوشريت، مدير مدرسة ESSAT.

وقد خُصِّص جدول أعمال الاجتماع لدراسة وضعية التسيير المالي لسنتي 2024 و2025، إلى جانب مناقشة مشروع ميزانية سنة 2026. كما تطرق أعضاء المجلس إلى مؤشرات تسيير وحوكمة المؤسسة، وناقشوا الرؤى والتوجهات الاستراتيجية الرامية إلى دعم وتطوير المدرسة.

Under the supervision of its director Professor Bouchrit ROUISSAT, ESSA Tlemcen successfully hosted the training, "Introduction and Advanced Applications in Robotics," led by esteemed instructors from the École Polytechnique Militaire of Algiers.
This program, held December 07-11 for 5th-year and PhD students, reinforced competencies in modern robotics.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the École Polytechnique Militaire instructors for their exceptional contribution and expertise.

Today, December 11th, ESSAT Tlemcen, in partnership with the dynamic Ecogeeks Club, hosted an exceptional event to mark International Mountain Day.
The event was in direct conjunction with the historical date of December 11th. A solemn minute of silence was integrated into the program, dedicated to the martyrs of December 11, 1960. This act served as a reminder that protecting our land is inseparable from honoring the memory of those who defended it.
We were privileged to host experts from the Direction des Forêts de Tlemcen and the Réserve de Chasse & Parc National de Tlemcen, featuring three pivotal conferences:

Pr. Bensaid: The Ecological Importance of Tlemcen’s Mountain Zones.
Pr. Kherbouche Djamila: The Future of Renewable Energies in Mountainous Areas.
Pr. Ghomri Amina: Glaciers & Water Resources: A Vital Balance.
Congratulations to the Ecogeeks Club for successfully blending science, civic duty, and history in one impactful event.
