The Digital Explorers II programme at Tallinn University has now concluded, marking the end of four months of intensive learning, collaboration, and hands-on experience.
Last week was a big milestone for the participants when presenting their final internship projects. Students worked in eight teams, developing solutions together with FleetGuru, Latitude59, ADM, Balti Uuringute Instituut, PoCo popkunstimuuseum, Ettevõtluskeskus, Trinidad Wiseman, and Koodtech. As the final step of the programme, the student teams presented the results of their internship projects.
The projects ranged from digital product and service design to speaker onboarding for live events, public service digitisation, automation workflows, and better internal and learning processes.
As Michael Kihuyu, whose team worked with Latitude59, said: “We built everything from scratch, and that has given me confidence and competence in designing and implementing complex systems for large scale use cases.”
For Tallinn University’s School of Digital Technologies, this is the second time hosting the Digital Explorers II programme and welcoming students from Strathmore University and Kenyatta University. It has been inspiring to see how much the students have grown through the experience.
