Travel around the world without leaving Tallinn University! 🇪🇪💚

On 14 October, Erasmus+ Day transforms Tallinn University into an international cultural café filled with flavours, languages, music, dance and traditions from around the world.

Throughout the day, you can discover different cultures and learn more about Erasmus+ study opportunities. The programme takes you from India to Brazil, Portugal, Kenya, Italy, Greece, Japan, the USA, Spain and beyond.

The day starts at 8:30 with a Meditation Morning and a Journey to India with hot cacao, followed by cultural activities in the Astra Lobby. In the evening, we’ll cook traditional Estonian party food together and finish the day with an international pub crawl in Tallinn Old Town.

The Erasmus+ Information Café will also be open throughout the day in the Astra Lobby. Come for one activity or stay for the whole day and discover where Erasmus+ could take you next.

More than 6,000 kilometres from home, yet closer to her roots. 🇪🇪🇨🇦

Born and raised in Canada, Häli Helena Puust moved from Ontario to Tallinn to study at Tallinn University and discover more about her Estonian heritage.

Häli chose the Liberal Arts in Social Sciences programme, which gives her the opportunity to explore society, culture, history, politics and people from different perspectives.

How can Estonia’s educational expertise reach beyond our borders? 🇪🇪⭐️

Members of the Estonian Education Export Network gathered at Tallinn University’s EduSpace research lab to exchange experiences, explore new opportunities and discuss the future of international cooperation in education.

Tallinn University shared its experience from international development programmes and Future School projects in Lithuania, Moldova, Armenia and Ukraine. The discussions also explored new possibilities for cooperation and ways to bring Estonia’s educational knowledge and practices to partners around the world.

Tallinn University welcomed a delegation of Ukrainian university rectors and higher education experts to exchange experiences and discuss the development of higher education.

The discussions focused on university leadership, strategic planning, curriculum development and opportunities for future cooperation between Estonian and Ukrainian universities.

Cooperation with Ukraine continues to be an important part of Tallinn University’s international activities, bringing universities together through education, research and the exchange of knowledge and experience.
