The international guests of the Centre for Digital Health brought us together for an inspiring afternoon of lectures, discussion, and knowledge exchange.

The event was opened by Digital Health MSc programme Director Doris Kaljuste, who introduced our guest speakers.

We had the pleasure of hearing from 🇭🇷 Anamaria Malešević, who spoke about readiness for digitalisation and AI in healthcare, sharing examples from Croatia and the experiences of patients with autoimmune diseases.

🇯🇵 Jeyoon Choi introduced NeuroTAIA, exploring how individuals can gain enforceable control over their brain data and how advances in computational neuroscience can support data governance in neuroimaging.

🇩🇪 Prof. Dr. Daniela Eidt-Koch shared insights into digital health technologies and recommendations for their further development and adoption in Germany, drawing on best-practice examples.

The afternoon was a wonderful opportunity to learn from international experiences, exchange ideas and connect with colleagues across disciplines and countries.

A sincere thank you to our speakers for sharing their expertise and inspiring discussions with our students, researchers and staff. 🌍✨

📚 Lectures, group projects, data analysis, and a healthy dose of caffeine.

🏀 Almost all of our students also work during their studies, so the struggle is real! For example, one of our 1st-year students is a professional athlete in the TalTech/ALEXELA basketball team.

We absolutely 🧡 this video, which captures the authentic, fast-paced, and exciting journey of our MSc students. Have a look at Oliver's journey as both an athlete and a student in the TalTech Digital Health MSc programme! 🙌
