Welcome back after a very tough and rigid exam session 🤯. We have very exciting news from AMHSF 👋

We're thrilled to announce our upcoming summer course entitled

"A Beginner's Guide to Biostatistics in Medical Science."

Starting this summer, this guide promises to enlighten and empower those new to the field of biostatistics.

🔍 What to Expect

Join us as we dive into the basics of biostatistics, covering everything from data variables, descriptive statistics of data variables, normalization of data, tabular and graphical presentation of data, types of statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing.

This series is meticulously designed for beginners and includes interactive sessions that make complex concepts accessible and engaging.

🎓 Our Featured lecturer

We're proud to host our esteemed colleague Nagla Usama, a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Biochemistry at Beni-Suef University and lecturer Assistant at the Medical Laboratory Technology Department, Faculty of Applied Health Science, Misr University for Science and Technology, who will be sharing her expertise. With a rich background in medical laboratory technology, Nagla brings both knowledge and practical insights to the table.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

1- Applicants must be third-level students about to enter their final year in the College of Applied Health Science.
2- Postgraduate students who have graduated from the Faculty of Applied Medical or Health Sciences are also eligible.
3- Academic staff from the faculties of Applied Health Sciences are welcome to apply.

📝 Application Requirements

1- Interested candidates must upload a valid University ID, Graduate Certificate, or Work ID (for academic staff).
2- Only 50 applicants will be selected based on their Curriculum Vitae (CV).

📚 Course Structure & Commitment

1- The course consists of 6 online lectures, conducted via Microsoft Teams.
2- Participants must commit to attending all lectures, completing the final text exam, and fulfilling all assigned tasks throughout the series.

🔬 كجزء من سلسلة "اعرف المزيد" برعاية اتحاد العلوم الطبية والصحية التطبيقية (AMHSF)، نغوص في عالم الجمعيات عبر الوطنية التي تدعم وتطور مجال التكنولوجيا الطبية بشكل كبير.

🔬هناك بعض هذه الجمعيات المختبرات الطبية العالمية:

1. * الاتحاد الدولي لعلوم المختبرات الطبية الحيوية (IFBLS)*
2. * الجمعية الأمريكية لعلوم المختبرات السريرية (ASCLS) *
3. * الجمعية الدولية لأمراض الدم المختبرية (ISLH)
4. * الجمعية الدولية للإحصاءات الحيوية السريرية (ISCB)
5. * الجمعية الدولية لعلم الدم المختبر (ISLH)
6. * الاتحاد الدولي للكيمياء السريرية وطب المختبرات ( IFCC).

📚الاتحاد الدولي لعلوم المختبرات الطبية الحيوية (IFBLS): تأسست ك IAMLT في عام 1954 في زيوريخ ومقرها الآن في هاميلتون، كندا، ويمثل IFBLS أكثر من 240,000 عالم مختبرات طبي حيوي من 38 دولة. وهي مشهورة بجهودها في توحيد معايير التدريب والتعليم في جميع أنحاء العالم.

📚الجمعية الأمريكية لعلوم المختبرات السريرية (ASCLS): منذ عام 1933، كان ASCLS دورًا أساسيًا في النهوض بممارسات المختبرات الإكلينيكية من خلال الدعوة والتعليم والمشاركة المجتمعية، مما يضمن الاستعداد الجيد لمطالب الرعاية الصحية اليوم.

📚الجمعية الدولية لأمراض الدم المختبرية (ISLH): تقف ISLH في طليعة تعزيز ممارسات مختبرات الدم في جميع أنحاء العالم من خلال التزامها بالتعليم والتوحيد القياسي والدعوة.
