The mission of the Faculty Education is to prepare highly qualified teachers and competitive educational l
eaders, who are equipped with the needed skills in the fields of culture, knowledge , research and teaching abilities. This will grant them a remarkable role in the process of creation to be able to attain an influential partnership with diverse social institutions coping with the highest quality of the educational process. 2-Bachelor of Arts and Education ( B.A. ( 160 credit hours) in :
a) Arabic Language and Islamic Studies;
b) English Language;

II- General Diploma in education ( 40 credit hours)
III- Professional Diploma in Education ( 35 credit hours) in (teaching Arabic to non- Arabic speakers – special Education – Academic guidance – Electronic learning). Admission
1- The applicant must be a holder of The Egyptian High School Diploma ( Thanaweya Amma ) or its equivalent with at least 60 %. b- The student should pass the faculty's tests that examine the students' fitness for the teaching profession to assure that he is devoid of any physical, congenital or pronunciation defects that may hinder undertaking the teaching profession . c- The student should pass tests of abilities determined by the faculty's and university's councils.
2-Inorder to register for the general Diploma of Education, the student should be a holder of a (B. Sc.) or a ( B. A. from an Egyptian university in one of the subjects taught at the schools of the ministry of Education.
3-As for the professional diploma in Education , the student should be a holder of ( B. Ed.), ( B. or the general Diploma of Education. Departments

Study system in the Faculty of Education
The program in the Faculty of Education follows the credit hours system. Students' activities
The Faculty of Education offers a variety of activities for the students. They include cultural social, artistic, sporting and recreational activities beside the groups of different activities, which achieve effective interaction between the students of the different years on one hand and between the students of the university colleges on the other hand. Every year the faculty holds the ideal Student competition who in turn joins the university Ideal Student competition. In 2004/ 2005 the ideal student of the Faculty of Education won the title of the university's ideal student. The faculty sends one or two honour students of the German department to Germany for a one month scholarship granted from the ( DAAD). The faculty participates in the annual university festival for marketing which offers chances to final year students to be acquainted with the needs of the private schools and the educational institutions participating in the occasion . Additionally, this gives the students the privilege of recruitment in these institutions after graduation. Procedures of Admission and Registration
1-Receiving the student Guide Book and the registration forms from the student affairs office.
2-Visiting to the concerned department in the faculty to meet the academic advisor.
3-The student discusses the courses with the academic advisor and writes them starting with the code number, then the title and finally the credit hours' numbers.
4-The academic advisor approves the courses by signing the form.
5-The dean or the vice dean also approves the listed courses by signing the form.
6-The student should go to the admission and registration office to register the courses and their credit hours. The head of the office signs the form.
7-The student should go to the student affairs office to deliver the signed form and receive the fees paying order.
8-The student goes to the university cashier's office to pay the fees and receives a receipt with the university ID card
