🔷 🔷 جامعة الإسكندرية تبحث تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي مع جامعة إيموني الأورومتوسطية بسلوفينيا

استقبل الدكتور أحمد عادل عبد الحكيم، القائم بأعمال رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية، وفدًا رفيع المستوى من جامعة إيموني الأورومتوسطية (EMUNI) بسلوفينيا، برئاسة الدكتور رادو بوهينك رئيس الجامعة، والدكتور جاكا فدانجال رئيس الشئون الأكاديمية، وذلك لبحث آفاق التعاون المشترك بين الجانبين، وتعزيز الشراكات الدولية، وتوسيع مجالات التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي بما يدعم تبادل الخبرات والتكامل العلمي بين المؤسسات التعليمية.

جاء ذلك بحضور الدكتور عصام الكردي رئيس جامعة العلمين الدولية، والدكتورة عفاف العوفي نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، والدكتور حسن ندير خير الله رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية الأسبق ورئيس مجلس أمناء جامعة العلمين الدولية، والدكتور رشدي زهران رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية الأسبق وعضو مجلس أمناء جامعة العلمين الدولية، والدكتور علاء عبد الباري نائب رئيس الأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري للدراسات العليا والبحث العلمي، والدكتور علي عبد المحسن المشرف على مكتب العلاقات الدولية، والدكتورة جيهان جويفل مساعد رئيس الجامعة لتدويل التعليم وفروع الجامعات الدولية، والدكتور صديق عبد السلام نائب رئيس الجامعة الأسبق، إلى جانب عدد من قيادات الجامعات والمؤسسات الأكاديمية المشاركة.

تناول اللقاء مناقشة سبل إقامة تعاون بحثي شامل عبر الحدود بين جامعة إيموني والجامعات الشريكة في مصر، من خلال تنفيذ مشروعات بحثية مشتركة، وتبادل أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب، وتقديم الدعم الأكاديمي في مختلف الأنشطة التعليمية والبحثية.

وخلال اللقاء، أكد الدكتور أحمد عادل عبد الحكيم حرص جامعة الإسكندرية على تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي مع جامعة إيموني، ودعم جهود تطوير البحث العلمي بمنطقة حوض البحر المتوسط، مشيرًا إلى أن جامعة الإسكندرية تُعد جزءًا من منظومة الجامعات الشريكة لـ EMUNI والتي تحظى بدعم من أمانة الاتحاد من أجل المتوسط.
وأوضح أن هذه الشراكة تتيح للباحثين والطلاب بجامعة الإسكندرية فرصًا أوسع للمشاركة في مشروعات بحثية مشتركة، وبرامج دراسات عليا تشمل مرحلتي الماجستير والدكتوراه، تركز على القضايا والتحديات المشتركة لدول حوض البحر المتوسط، بالإضافة إلى فرص تبادل الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس مع الجامعات الأوروبية والأفريقية المنضمة لشبكة إيموني.

ومن جانبه، أعرب الدكتور رادو بوهينك رئيس جامعة إيموني عن تقديره لجامعة الإسكندرية وحرصه على توسيع مجالات التعاون المشترك، مؤكدًا أهمية البناء على الرؤى التي طُرحت خلال اللقاء بما يسهم في تحقيق شراكة استراتيجية مستدامة بين الجانبين.
وأوضح أن جامعة إيموني تتبنى ثلاثة محاور رئيسية في رؤيتها للتعليم العالي تتمثل في: التعليم العابر للحدود والثقافات، والرقمنة، والاستدامة، مشيرًا إلى أن الجامعة تُعد مؤسسة دولية للتعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، تأسست عام 2008 بمدينة بيران بسلوفينيا تحت مظلة الاتحاد من أجل المتوسط بهدف تعزيز التكامل الثقافي والمعرفي.
وأضاف أن الجامعة تقدم برامج دولية باللغة الإنجليزية في مجالات متعددة تشمل الرقمنة، وحقوق الإنسان، والتواصل التجاري بين الثقافات، وعلوم الحركة والأداء البشري، والإدارة المستدامة، والعلوم البحرية، والدبلوماسية العلمية، فضلًا عن توفير فرص للدراسة والتبادل الثقافي من خلال برامج مثل "إيراسموس"، والمنح الدراسية المتاحة للطلاب من دول شمال إفريقيا والشرق الأوسط، إضافة إلى احتوائها على مراكز متخصصة لدراسة التراث العربي والشرق أوسطي وقضايا البيئة والتنمية المستدامة.

وأعرب الدكتور عصام الكردي عن تقديره لاستضافة جامعة الإسكندرية لهذا اللقاء، مؤكدًا أهمية تعزيز التعاون في مجالات التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي والابتكار، ودعم توجه جامعة العلمين الدولية نحو تدويل التعليم وبناء شراكات أكاديمية دولية قوية.

كما أكد الدكتور علاء عبد الباري اعتزاز الأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري بعلاقاتها الوثيقة مع جامعة إيموني، مشيرًا إلى التعاون المشترك بين الجانبين في عدد من المشروعات البحثية الممولة من الاتحاد الأوروبي من خلال برامج Erasmus+، إلى جانب المشاركة في المؤتمرات وورش العمل العلمية وتبادل الخبرات والأفكار.

شهد اللقاء تقديم عروض تعريفية عن جامعة الإسكندرية، وجامعة العلمين الدولية، والأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري، ومركز تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها بكلية الآداب، بالإضافة إلى مركز الإسكندرية للآثار البحرية والتراث الثقافي تحت الماء.


Alexandria University Explores Strengthening Academic and Research Cooperation with EMUNI Euro-Mediterranean University in Slovenia

Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, received a high-level delegation from the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) in Slovenia, headed by Dr. Rado Bohinc, President of the University, and Dr. Jaka Vdanjal, Head of Academic Affairs, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation, strengthen international partnerships, and expand academic and research collaboration in support of expertise exchange and scientific integration among educational institutions.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Essam El-Kordy, President of Alamein International University; Dr. Affaf Al-Oufy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hassan Nadir Khairallah, former President of Alexandria University and member of the EMUNI Board of Trustees; Dr. Roshdy Zahran, former President of Alexandria University and former member of EMUNI’s Academic Council; Dr. Alaa Abdel Bari, Vice President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research; Dr. Ali Abdel Mohsen, Supervisor of the International Relations Office; Dr. Jehan Gouaifel, Assistant President for Internationalization of Education and International Branch Campuses; Dr. Seddik Abdel Salam, former Vice President of Alexandria University; in addition to several leaders from universities and participating academic institutions.

The meeting discussed opportunities for establishing comprehensive cross-border research collaboration between EMUNI and partner universities in Egypt through joint research projects, exchange of faculty members and students, and academic support across educational and research activities.

During the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim emphasized Alexandria University’s commitment to strengthening academic and research cooperation with EMUNI and supporting scientific research development efforts across the Mediterranean region. He noted that Alexandria University is part of EMUNI’s network of partner universities, which receives support from the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean.
He explained that this partnership provides researchers and students at Alexandria University with broader opportunities to participate in joint research projects and postgraduate programs, including master's and doctoral studies focusing on shared challenges and issues across Mediterranean countries, in addition to exchange opportunities with European and African universities within the EMUNI network.

For his part, Dr. Rado Bohinc expressed his appreciation for Alexandria University and his interest in expanding areas of joint cooperation, emphasizing the importance of building on the ideas discussed during the meeting to establish a sustainable strategic partnership between both institutions.
He explained that EMUNI’s vision for higher education is based on three main pillars: cross-border and intercultural education, digitalization, and sustainability. He noted that EMUNI is an international higher education and research institution founded in 2008 in Piran, Slovenia, under the umbrella of the Union for the Mediterranean, with the goal of promoting cultural and knowledge integration.
He added that the university offers international English-language programs in various fields including digitalization, human rights, intercultural business communication, human movement and performance sciences, sustainable management, marine sciences, and science diplomacy. It also provides opportunities for study and cultural exchange through programs such as Erasmus and scholarships available to students from North Africa and the Middle East, in addition to specialized centers focusing on Arab heritage, Middle Eastern studies, environmental issues, and sustainable development.

Dr. Essam El-Kordy also expressed his appreciation to Alexandria University for hosting the meeting, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation in higher education, scientific research, and innovation, while supporting Alamein International University’s vision for internationalization and global academic partnerships.

Dr. Alaa Abdel Bari also expressed the Arab Academy’s pride in its strong relationship with EMUNI, highlighting ongoing collaboration through several European Union-funded research projects under Erasmus+ programs, as well as participation in conferences, scientific workshops, and knowledge exchange initiatives.

The meeting also included introductory presentations on Alexandria University, Alamein International University, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Center for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers at the Faculty of Arts, and the Alexandria Center for Maritime Archaeology and Underwater Cultural Heritage.

◾ انطلاق فعاليات معرض الملابس الخيري التاسع والثلاثين بكلية الطب – جامعة الإسكندرية بالمجمع الطبي بسموحة

في إطار حرص جامعة الإسكندرية على دعم منتسبيها وتعزيز دورها المجتمعي، وتحت رعاية الدكتور أحمد عادل عبد الحكيم، القائم بأعمال رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية،وإشراف الدكتورة عفاف العوفي نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة انطلقت فعاليات معرض الملابس الخيري في دورته التاسعة والثلاثين، والذي تنظمه كلية الطب بالمجمع الطبي بسموحة، بحضور قيادات الكلية وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب والعاملين.

وأعرب الدكتور تامر عبد الله، عميد كلية الطب، عن خالص شكره وتقديره لجميع القائمين على تنظيم المعرض، مشيدًا بجهودهم وتعاونهم المستمر لضمان نجاح الفعالية وتحقيق أهدافها، ومؤكدًا أهمية استمرار هذا التعاون خلال الفترات المقبلة بما يعزز دور الكلية في خدمة منتسبيها والمجتمع.

ومن جانبه، أكد الدكتور محمد صدقة أهمية استمرار تنظيم هذه المعارض لما تمثله من دور فاعل في دعم الطلاب والطالبات بكلية الطب والمدينة الجامعية، إلى جانب العاملين بالكلية، من خلال توفير احتياجاتهم الأساسية بأسعار مناسبة ومدعومة.

ضم المعرض تشكيلة متنوعة من الملابس والأحذية والشنط والمشغولات اليدوية والمستلزمات المنزلية، بالإضافة إلى المأكولات، وذلك بأسعار مدعومة تستهدف تخفيف الأعباء المعيشية عن المنتفعين، وسط تنظيم متميز وإقبال ملحوظ من الطلاب والعاملين بالكلية.

Launch of the 39th Charity Clothing Exhibition at the Faculty of Medicine – Alexandria University Medical Complex in Smouha

As part of Alexandria University’s commitment to supporting its members and strengthening its community role, and under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, activities of the 39th Charity Clothing Exhibition, organized by the Faculty of Medicine at the Smouha Medical Complex, officially commenced in the presence of faculty leaders, staff members, students, and employees.

Dr. Tamer Abdallah, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to all those involved in organizing the exhibition, praising their efforts and continuous cooperation in ensuring the success of the event and achieving its objectives. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining such collaboration in the future to further strengthen the faculty’s role in serving its members and the community.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mohamed Sadka highlighted the importance of continuing to organize such exhibitions due to their significant role in supporting male and female students at the Faculty of Medicine and university residences, as well as faculty employees, by providing essential needs at affordable and subsidized prices.

The exhibition featured a wide variety of clothing, shoes, bags, handmade products, household supplies, and food items at subsidized prices aimed at easing living expenses for beneficiaries, with excellent organization and noticeable attendance from students and faculty staff members.

🔻 جامعة الإسكندرية تُطلق استبيانًا لخريجيها لقياس توافق البرامج الدراسية مع احتياجات سوق العمل

في إطار حرص جامعة الإسكندرية على تطوير منظومتها التعليمية وتعزيز ارتباط مخرجاتها الأكاديمية بمتطلبات سوق العمل، أعلنت الجامعة عن إطلاق استبيان شامل موجّه إلى خريجيها بمختلف الكليات والتخصصات، بهدف رصد أوضاعهم المهنية، وتقييم البرامج الدراسية التي التحقوا بها، وقياس مدى توافقها مع احتياجات سوق العمل المتغيرة.

وأوضح الدكتور أحمد عادل عبد الحكيم، القائم بأعمال رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية، أن إطلاق هذا الاستبيان يأتي في إطار توجه استراتيجي للجامعة يستهدف تعزيز الربط بين العملية التعليمية والتطبيقات العملية واحتياجات التنمية، بما يسهم في تطوير منظومة التعليم الجامعي وتحسين جودة مخرجاته.

وأضاف أن الاستماع إلى آراء الخريجين يمثل ركيزة أساسية في تطوير السياسات الأكاديمية وتحسين البرامج الدراسية، باعتبارهم حلقة الوصل الأهم بين التجربة التعليمية وسوق العمل، بما يوفر مؤشرات واقعية تساعد في قياس فاعلية البرامج وتطويرها.

🔷🔷 مجلس الدراسات العليا بجامعة الإسكندرية يناقش إدراج الشهادات المصغرة (Micro-Credentials) ضمن منظومة الدراسات العليا

ناقش مجلس الدراسات العليا والبحوث بجامعة الإسكندرية، خلال جلسته المنعقدة صباح اليوم الثلاثاء الموافق 19 مايو 2026، برئاسة الدكتور هشام سعيد نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون الدراسات العليا والبحوث، آليات إدماج الشهادات المصغرة (Micro-Credentials / Micro-Certificates) ضمن منظومة الدراسات العليا بالجامعة، في إطار توجه الجامعة نحو تطوير البرامج الأكاديمية ومواكبة متطلبات سوق العمل والتوجهات العالمية الحديثة في التعليم.

وأكد الدكتور هشام سعيد أن الشهادات المصغرة تُعد مسارًا تعليميًا حديثًا يعتمد على منح الدارسين شهادات معتمدة لاكتساب مهارة أو مجموعة من المهارات المتخصصة خلال فترات زمنية قصيرة تتراوح بين أسبوعين وثلاثة أشهر، موضحًا أنه يمكن دمج هذه الشهادات ضمن الساعات الدراسية للبرامج الأكاديمية، كما يمكن تقديمها بنظام التعلم الإلكتروني وبالتعاون مع جامعات دولية مرموقة.

وأشار إلى أن هذه الشهادات تختلف عن الدرجات الأكاديمية التقليدية مثل الماجستير والدكتوراه، إذ تتميز بالمرونة والتركيز على المهارات التطبيقية المتخصصة، مع إمكانية تجميعها تدريجيًا داخل البرامج الأكاديمية المختلفة، بما يسهم في تأهيل الدارسين لسوق العمل وتمكينهم من مواكبة التطورات المتسارعة في المجالات الحديثة، وعلى رأسها الذكاء الاصطناعي، وأمن المعلومات، والتكنولوجيا الحيوية.

وأضاف أن الشهادات المصغرة أصبحت تمثل توجهًا عالميًا متزايدًا، ومن المتوقع أن تصبح خلال السنوات المقبلة أحد المكونات الأساسية لمنظومة التعليم الجامعي والدراسات العليا والتدريب المهني المستمر، مؤكدًا أن تبني جامعة الإسكندرية لنظام متكامل لهذه الشهادات يمثل خطوة استراتيجية نحو دعم التحول الرقمي، وتعزيز التنافسية الدولية، وتطوير رأس المال البشري، ودعم الاقتصاد المعرفي، بما يعزز مكانة الجامعة إقليميًا ودوليًا.

كما استعرض المجلس نماذج للشهادات المصغرة المقدمة من جامعات عالمية رائدة مثل Penn State University، وHarvard University، وMIT، إلى جانب مناقشة مقترح إنشاء مجلس أعلى للشهادات المصغرة بجامعة الإسكندرية وتحديد تشكيله واختصاصاته.

وخلال الجلسة، وافق المجلس على تجديد بروتوكول التعاون بين وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي (جامعة الإسكندرية) ووزارة الدفاع ممثلة في مركز البحوث الطبية والطب التجديدي، بهدف دعم وتشجيع البحث العلمي المشترك.

كما وافق المجلس على موافاة المجلس الأعلى للجامعات بالتعديلات النهائية على اللائحة الدراسية لبرنامج الماجستير المهني في الصيدلة الإشعاعية بكلية الصيدلة.

وفي ختام الجلسة، تقدم المجلس بالتهنئة إلى أعضاء هيئة التدريس والعاملين والطلاب بجامعة الإسكندرية بمناسبة قرب حلول عيد الأضحى المبارك.


Alexandria University Graduate Studies Council Discusses Integrating Micro-Credentials into the Postgraduate System

The Graduate Studies and Research Council at Alexandria University, during its session held on Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026, chaired by Prof. Hisham Saeed, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, discussed mechanisms for integrating Micro-Credentials / Micro-Certificates into the university’s postgraduate system. This comes as part of the university’s efforts to develop academic programs and align them with labor market demands and emerging global trends in education.

Prof. Hisham Saeed emphasized that micro-credentials represent a modern educational pathway that enables learners to obtain accredited certificates for acquiring a specific skill or a set of specialized skills over short periods ranging from two weeks to three months. He explained that these certificates can be integrated into the credit hours of academic programs and may also be delivered through e-learning platforms in cooperation with internationally recognized universities.

He further noted that micro-credentials differ from traditional academic degrees such as master's and doctoral programs, as they are characterized by flexibility and a stronger focus on specialized practical skills. They can also be accumulated progressively within various academic programs, contributing to preparing learners for labor market demands and enabling them to keep pace with rapid developments in emerging fields, particularly artificial intelligence, information security, and biotechnology.

Prof. Saeed added that micro-credentials have become an increasingly important global trend and are expected to become a key component of higher education, postgraduate studies, and lifelong professional learning systems in the coming years.

He stressed that Alexandria University's adoption of an integrated micro-credentials framework represents a strategic step toward supporting digital transformation, enhancing international competitiveness, developing human capital, and strengthening the knowledge economy, ultimately reinforcing the university’s regional and international standing.

The Council also reviewed examples of micro-credential programs offered by leading international universities, including Penn State University, Harvard University, and MIT, in addition to discussing a proposal to establish a Higher Council for Micro-Credentials at Alexandria University and define its structure and responsibilities.

During the session, the Council approved the renewal of the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Alexandria University) and the Ministry of Defense, represented by the Center for Medical Research and Regenerative Medicine, with the aim of supporting and promoting joint scientific research.
The Council also approved forwarding the final amendments to the academic regulations of the Professional Master's Program in Radiopharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy to the Supreme Council of Universities.

At the conclusion of the session, the Council extended its congratulations to Alexandria University faculty members, staff, and students on the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha holiday.

▪️▪️ جامعة الإسكندرية تحتفل بختام مشروع تحويل كلية الصيدلة إلى كلية خضراء صديقة للبيئة

تحت رعاية الدكتور أحمد عادل عبد الحكيم القائم بأعمال رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية، شاركت الدكتورة عفاف العوفي، نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، فى فعاليات حفل ختام مشروع «جامعات خضراء من أجل مستقبل أفضل: تحويل كلية الصيدلة بجامعة الإسكندرية إلى كلية خضراء صديقة للبيئة»، والذي نُفذ بالشراكة بين كلية الصيدلة بجامعة الإسكندرية، ومؤسسة «مناخ أرضنا للتنمية المستدامة»، ومكتبة الإسكندرية، وبرنامج المنح الصغيرة بمرفق البيئة العالمية، وذلك بمكتبة الإسكندرية.

وفى كلمتها، أكدت الدكتورة عفاف العوفي حرص جامعة الإسكندرية على أن تكون نموذجًا رائدًا في مجال الاستدامة على مستوى مدينة الإسكندرية والجامعات المصرية، مشيرة إلى أن مبادرة كلية الصيدلة نحو التحول الأخضر أسهمت في تعزيز مكانة الجامعة وحصولها على تصنيف متقدم في مجال الاستدامة على مستوى القارة الإفريقية.
وأضافت أن نجاح المشروع جاء نتيجة التكامل بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس والباحثين والطلاب والجهات الشريكة، مؤكدة أن الدعم الحكومي كان له دور مؤثر في تحقيق أهداف المشروع، مع توجه الجامعة لتعميم التجربة في مختلف كلياتها.

وبدورها، أوضحت الدكتورة حنان الجويلي، عميد كلية الصيدلة بجامعة الإسكندرية، أن المشروع بدأ منذ عدة سنوات كثمرة لجهود متواصلة من جميع العاملين بالكلية، مشيرة إلى أن المبادرة لا تقتصر على ترشيد استهلاك الطاقة والمياه فحسب، بل تهدف أيضًا إلى ترسيخ ثقافة بيئية مستدامة وتغيير السلوكيات المجتمعية، مثمنة دور مكتبة الإسكندرية في دعم واستضافة مثل هذه المبادرات.

وأعربت الدكتورة مروة الوكيل، رئيس قطاع البحث الأكاديمي بمكتبة الإسكندرية، عن تقديرها للشراكة المستمرة بين مكتبة الإسكندرية وجامعة الإسكندرية، مشيدة بمبادرة كلية الصيدلة للتحول نحو الممارسات الخضراء، مؤكدة أن المشروع يمثل نموذجًا ناجحًا للتعاون بين المؤسسات الأكاديمية والمجتمع المدني.

وأكد الدكتور سامح رياض، رئيس جهاز شئون البيئة بالإسكندرية، أن مشروع كلية الصيدلة يُعد من أبرز المشروعات البيئية التي شهدتها المحافظة، موضحًا أن نجاحه يمثل نموذجًا محفزًا لمؤسسات أخرى لتبني مبادرات مماثلة، خاصة في ظل التحديات البيئية والتغيرات المناخية المتسارعة التي يشهدها العالم.

كما استعرضت الدكتورة غادة أحمدين، ممثلة برنامج المنح الصغيرة، دور البرنامج في دعم وتمويل المبادرات المجتمعية الهادفة إلى التكيف مع التغيرات المناخية، موضحة أن المشروعات يتم دعمها وفقًا للأولويات الوطنية في مجالات التنمية والاستدامة.

ومن جانبه، أكد المهندس علي سمير، رئيس مجلس أمناء مؤسسة «مناخ أرضنا للتنمية المستدامة»، أن المبادرة تمثل نقطة انطلاق نحو تعميم نماذج التنمية المستدامة داخل المؤسسات التعليمية بمختلف أنحاء مصر، مشيرًا إلى أن تجربة كلية الصيدلة تعد قصة نجاح يمكن البناء عليها وتكرارها في مؤسسات أخرى.

وفي الجلسة الختامية، تم استعراض مبادرة التحول الأخضر «الدائرة الخضراء» بكلية الصيدلة، حيث قدم الأستاذ الدكتور شريف رستم، وكيل الكلية لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، عرضًا تفصيليًا حول المبادرة التي انطلقت في أكتوبر 2022 برعاية الدكتورة ميرفت قاسم، عميد الكلية السابق، قبل أن تتحول إلى تجربة رائدة في مجال الاستدامة بالإسكندرية.

كما استعرضت الأستاذة الدكتورة سماح الصحفي، منسق المبادرة، مراحل تطور المشروع والنتائج المؤثرة التي تحققت على أرض الواقع.

واختتمت الفعاليات بعرض فيلم وثائقي تناول مراحل تنفيذ المشروع وأهدافه والجهات المشاركة فيه، مؤكدًا ارتباطه بأهداف التنمية المستدامة وجهود مواجهة آثار التغيرات المناخية.

Alexandria University Celebrates the Closing of the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Transformation into an Eco-Friendly Green Faculty Project

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, Professor Dr. Affaf Al-Oufy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, participated in the closing ceremony of the project titled “Green Universities for a Better Future: Transforming the Faculty of Pharmacy at Alexandria University into an Eco-Friendly Green Faculty.”

The project was implemented in partnership between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University; “Our Earth Climate for Sustainable Development” Foundation; the Bibliotheca Alexandrina; and the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme. The ceremony was held at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

In her speech, Dr. Affaf Al-Oufy, emphasized Alexandria University’s commitment to serving as a leading model in sustainability at the level of Alexandria city and Egyptian universities. She noted that the Faculty of Pharmacy’s green transformation initiative contributed to enhancing the university’s position, including achieving a distinguished ranking in sustainability at the African level.
She added that the project’s success resulted from strong integration between faculty members, researchers, students, and partner entities, highlighting that governmental support also played a significant role in achieving its objectives. She further indicated the university’s intention to expand and generalize the experience across other faculties.

For her part, Professor Dr. Hanan El-Gewely, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, stated that the project began several years ago as the result of sustained efforts by all members of the faculty. She explained that the initiative goes beyond energy and water conservation, aiming instead to promote a sustainable environmental culture and behavioral change, while praising the role of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in hosting and supporting such initiatives.

Dr. Mervat El-Wakeel, Head of Academic Research Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, expressed appreciation for the ongoing partnership between the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Alexandria University, commending the Pharmacy Faculty’s green initiative and emphasizing that the project represents a successful model of cooperation between academic institutions and civil society.

Dr. Sameh Riyad, Head of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency in Alexandria, stated that the Faculty of Pharmacy project is among the most significant environmental initiatives implemented in the governorate, noting that its success serves as an inspiring model for other institutions to adopt similar initiatives, particularly in light of growing environmental challenges and accelerating climate change.

Dr. Ghada Ahmadin, representative of the Small Grants Programme, highlighted the programme’s role in supporting and funding community initiatives aimed at climate change adaptation, explaining that projects are funded in accordance with national priorities in sustainability and development.

Engineer Ali Samir, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of “Our Earth Climate for Sustainable Development” Foundation, affirmed that the initiative represents a starting point for expanding sustainable development models across educational institutions in Egypt, noting that the Faculty of Pharmacy’s experience is a successful model that can be replicated.

During the closing session, the “Green Circle” initiative at the Faculty of Pharmacy was presented. Professor Dr. Sherif Rustom, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, provided a detailed presentation on the initiative, which began in October 2022 under the auspices of former Dean Professor Dr. Mervat Qassem before evolving into a pioneering sustainability model in Alexandria.

Professor Dr. Samah El-Sahfy, coordinator of the initiative, reviewed the project’s development stages and the tangible outcomes achieved on the ground.

The event concluded with a documentary film showcasing the project’s implementation stages, objectives, and participating entities, highlighting its alignment with sustainable development goals and efforts to address climate change challenges.

عقد مجلس شئون التعليم والطلاب بجامعة الإسكندرية اجتماعه اليوم برئاسة الدكتور أحمد عبد الحكيم، القائم بأعمال رئيس الجامعة ونائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون التعليم والطلاب، لمناقشة عدد من الملفات المتعلقة بالعملية التعليمية والأنشطة الطلابية بمختلف كليات ومعاهد الجامعة.

وخلال الاجتماع، أشاد الدكتور أحمد عبد الحكيم بحسن سير وانتظام أعمال امتحانات الفصل الدراسي الثاني بمختلف كليات الجامعة، مثمنًا جهود عمداء الكليات وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والعاملين في توفير الأجواء المناسبة للطلاب وضمان انتظام العملية الامتحانية، مؤكدًا حرص الجامعة على تطبيق جميع الإجراءات التنظيمية التي تكفل سير الامتحانات بكفاءة وانضباط.

كما وجّه بسرعة الانتهاء من أعمال التصحيح والرصد وإعلان النتائج في أقرب وقت، تيسيرًا على الطلاب وضمانًا لاستمرار العملية التعليمية وفق الجداول الزمنية المحددة.

وفي إطار استراتيجية جامعة الإسكندرية للتحول الرقمي وتعزيز خدمات الدعم المقدمة للطلاب، لاسيما من ذوي الهمم، أشاد الدكتور أحمد عبد الحكيم بالجهود المتميزة التي تبذلها فرق العمل بمركز الابتكارات التربوية برئاسة الدكتور سامح نخلة، بالتعاون مع كلية الحاسبات وعلوم البيانات، لتطوير البوابة الطلابية للجامعة ودمج أداة «داعم» على المنصة، بما يسهم في توفير خدمات تعليمية أكثر سهولة وإتاحة للطلاب من ذوي الإعاقات المختلفة.

وأوضح الدكتور سامح نخلة أن البوابة الطلابية تضم حاليًا 1214 كتابًا إلكترونيًا منشورًا و768 بنك أسئلة، إلى جانب مجموعة متكاملة من الخدمات الطلابية تشمل حجز خدمات التكافل الاجتماعي، والوحدات العلاجية، والدعم النفسي، والمدن الجامعية، ومراكز التطوير الوظيفي، ورعاية الشباب، فضلًا عن تنظيم الفعاليات والأنشطة الطلابية المختلفة، بما يعكس توجه الجامعة نحو بناء بيئة تعليمية رقمية متكاملة تدعم مختلف فئات الطلاب.

كما أعرب المجلس عن تقديره للتنظيم المتميز لاحتفالية «يوم الجاليات الثقافي» للطلاب الوافدين، مشيدًا بما عكسته الفعاليات من روح التنوع الثقافي والتواصل الإنساني بين الطلاب من مختلف الجنسيات، وبالدور الفاعل الذي قام به اتحاد الطلاب الوافدين بالتعاون مع إدارة شئون الوافدين وإدارة رعاية الشباب في تنظيم الحدث بصورة مشرفة تعكس مكانة جامعة الإسكندرية.

وفي ختام المجلس، تقدم الدكتور أحمد عبد الحكيم وأعضاء المجلس بالتهنئة إلى أسرة جامعة الإسكندرية من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والعاملين والطلاب بمناسبة قرب حلول عيد الأضحى المبارك، داعياً الله أن يعيده على مصر والأمتين العربية والإسلامية بالخير واليمن والبركات.


Alexandria University Council for Education and Student Affairs Discusses Smooth Conduct of Final Exams and Digital Transformation Efforts

The Alexandria University Council for Education and Student Affairs held its meeting today under the chairmanship of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University and Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, to discuss a number of issues related to the educational process and student activities across the university’s faculties and institutes.

During the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hakim praised the smooth and well-organized conduct of second semester examinations across the university's faculties, commending the efforts of faculty deans, academic staff, and employees in providing a suitable environment for students and ensuring the efficient administration of the examination process. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to implementing all necessary procedures to guarantee that examinations proceed effectively and in an orderly manner.
He also directed the prompt completion of grading and result compilation procedures and emphasized the importance of announcing results as soon as possible to facilitate matters for students and ensure the continuity of the educational process according to the established academic schedule.

As part of Alexandria University's digital transformation strategy and its efforts to enhance support services for students, particularly students with disabilities, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hakim commended the distinguished efforts of the teams at the Educational Innovations Center, headed by Dr. Sameh Nakhla, in cooperation with the Faculty of Computers and Data Science, in developing the university's student portal and integrating the “Da'em” tool into the platform, contributing to the provision of more accessible and inclusive educational services for students with different disabilities.

Dr. Sameh Nakhla explained that the student portal currently includes 1,214 published e-books and 768 question banks, in addition to an integrated package of student services, including social solidarity services, medical units, psychological support, university housing, career development centers, youth welfare services, and the organization of various student events and activities. These efforts reflect the university’s commitment to building a comprehensive digital educational environment that supports all students.

The Council also expressed its appreciation for the outstanding organization of the “International Students Cultural Day” celebration, praising the spirit of cultural diversity and human connection reflected during the event, as well as the effective role played by the International Students Union in cooperation with the International Students Affairs Administration and the Youth Welfare Administration in organizing an event that reflected the distinguished standing of Alexandria University.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hakim and the Council members extended their greetings to Alexandria University’s faculty members, staff, and students on the occasion of the approaching Eid Al-Adha, wishing continued prosperity and blessings for Egypt and the Arab and Islamic nations.
