The Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering proudly shares the announcement of the COP31 Simulation Programme in Antalya, Türkiye. The programme is organized by The British University in Egypt in collaboration with UNDP Egypt.

The programme aims to empower youth in climate diplomacy, negotiation, policy advocacy, and sustainable development through a hands-on simulation of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP). Participants will engage in international climate discussions, policy development, and leadership activities alongside students from around the world.

We encourage our students to explore this outstanding opportunity and become part of the next generation of climate leaders.

The Faculty of Energy & Environmental Engineering proudly highlights the participation of our Assistant Lecturer Aya Saada from the Biochemical Department as an External Evaluator in the STEM Capstone Projects Exhibitions 🌱✨

📍 STEM Maadi School for Girls – 29 April
📍 STEM October 2 School for Boys and Girls – 1 May

Students presented inspiring capstone projects under the theme “Eco-Sustainable Systems,” showcasing innovative solutions to real-world environmental challenges through creativity, research, and scientific thinking.

We are proud to see our faculty members supporting and encouraging the next generation of scientists, researchers, and engineers through such impactful educational experiences.

As part of the “Sustainable Architecture: Style, Time and Place” module, our Year 2 students took part in an academic field visit to Al-Muizz Street, exploring a range of significant Islamic architectural monuments.

The visit offered valuable insights into how historical design strategies, such as passive cooling, spatial hierarchy, and material efficiency were seamlessly integrated into the built environment, providing timeless lessons for contemporary sustainable architecture practice.
